And all the money in the world doesn't guarantee a team - look at Peterborough - and both Brum and Swindon (and all the others who kept quiet about their money troubles) are still running

Adam is a more experienced rider than Zengi but remember that this was Zengi's first full season back after serious leg injuries. You may be right and he might not reach the level of Skornicki but I doubt we will see either in the UK this season.

World class? How did he qualify for next year's SGP series? IMHO his boat has sailed and he will never be world champion - he might win the odd SGP but will probably struggle to finish in top 8 - unless he does a PUK/Tai...

Have to disagree on the last point - I know a lot of people who would want to see a world champion and Chris was very deserving. Freddie hasn't ever looked like equalling that status and I'm afraid his boat has sailed. Holder every time for me!

I agree he shouldn't have been dropped and I agree it's not the fans fault but, at the end if the day, riders will ride where they are happiest - and a long commute obviously doesn't make him happy.

Schlein is being linked with a good few teams - given that KL only "bought him" last year, I'd be surprised if they wanted him to ride elsewhere - but stranger things have happened *cough* Miedzinski *cough*

With respect, if I wanted to see kids I'd go to a NL match - not the EL. I have no inclination to watch kids - I want to see professional sportsmen.

I have to say that I'm totally underwhelmed with the plans for next year. What have they done to improve the product? Nothing! If you look at the Swindon team last year where we started with two reserves on a combined average of 7.2 - take this off the 42.5 points for team building and you are left with 35.3. So for this coming season, we have knocked over 3 points of that total and throw in 2 out-of-their-depth NL riders and that is going to see the fans come flocking back? I don't think so! To add insult to the long suffering fans they plan to charge the same price as they did last year. Unbelievable really! Then you have this daft system (that's what it should be called) where there are a few ringers (ie. noticeably better than the rest) in the pot who are already spoken for! I am still waiting to see who we sign - it's December tomorrow and not one announcement yet either (unless you include the thanks but no thanks to Hans)

This isn't a dig at Coventry but why reward pi$$ poor teams from last year by letting them pick the best of what's on offer? Downright stupid!! Surely drawing lots is the fairest way of determining who has first pick? After all, all teams are building for the new season from scratch and this just stinks of the usual BSPA incapable of finding a fair way of doing things.
