I think you mean AGAIN! He already is a world champion and no one can take that away from him.
-
Unless he gets an MA pick
-
That'll be Gary Havelock then Oh and Peter York... The weather... The track... Their misfortunes .... Mick Horton... Nothing really

So Batch has withdrawn from the final Aussie Championship round with knee ligament damages - 6 weeks off Expects to be fit for start of season and seeing a specialist on Monday. Source: Paul Burbidge on Twitter

Even when it's wrong! Leigh Adams was and still is the best rider never to become world champion!
-
If Carlsberg made speedway riders....
-
Who would have thought at the start of last year that Tai would ever become world champion? Certainly not me - but he has a terrific training and fitness regime which has turned him into a world champion. Darcy (and a good few others) could learn from him and then anything is possible.
-
Yes - opinions are so much better
-
So what are this Saturday's winning lotto numbers - if you are so good at predictions?
-
You can suggest whatever you want but that would only be an opinion. The facts show that Mads is currently the better rider! So that's 3 now - Iversen, Tungate and Korneliussen all with higher averages than the corresponding ones you mentioned. 3-0 to me As you say, Tungate rides for a Thursday track already so there is little point in considering him for Swindon.
-
So you admit I'm right then? Go on, say it, you know you want to!
-
I would have picked the one with the lower average who could ride at reserve - nothing about being the better rider. Who's crowing? You are the one saying how you believe Ward will conquer the world and I am saying that Iversen is currently the better rider based on averages and world rankings. I think it's you doing the crowing! FWIW - Darcy has the potential to be one of the greatest speedway riders in the world but he isn't there quite yet.
-
I'm not so sure about the witchcraft reference but he certainly is a talent!
-
BOOM! There you go! I predicted that - not that it was difficult to work out! I agree Darcy has great potential but FACTS say that Iversen is currently better. Not really interested in the future - more interested in now!!
-
Something wrong with discussing it now? The facts show that Iversen is currently the better rider! I suppose even you couldn't argue to the contrary but I'm sure you will give it a go!
-
Only in Poole!! Iversen IS a better rider than Ward - as proved by his world ranking!! Queue the excuses about Ward being injured blah!blah!blah!
-
Did Rohan finish on a higher average or not??
-
Don't let facts get in the way of your opinion - Rohan finished on a higher average gained from riding in the top 5 whereas Josh's lesser average was gained from the reserve berth. Of course Josh is clearly the better rider
-
Well he can go xxxx himself as far as I'm concerned!!
-
Sorry - what have Swindon done wrong thus far in this situation? If someone has a contract then they can be "dumped" as you put it - if they don't perform. I don't agree with "dumping" someone because there is a perceived better option available. It happens but doesn't mean it's right! I stand by my original comment - ban him!
-
As I have said before, if Nick has signed a contract for Swindon and doesn't ride for Swindon but another team at EL level - he should get a ban as he is effectively withholding services. I appreciate that Somerset did the dirty on him but two wrongs don't make a right! I have nothing against him maximising his earning potential but to renege on a deal is so unprofessional and unless it is dealt with harshly then it will open the floodgates. He'll need to earn more now anyway to cover the accommodation that he now has to look for!
-
A total can of worms! I'm really getting so disillusioned with this sport now! As for Nick doing nothing wrong and wishing him all the best - what a crock!!
-
When Nick first rode for us, I'm sure that he was a full-time EL rider - it was only later that he started doubling up. Maybe he just has to go back to that with Sweden and Poland?
-
He may have been unhappy at the time - as would anyone knocked off their motorcycle but he doesn't sound too unhappy in this article http://www.flicwiltshirenews.com/Sport/Speedway/Batchelor-looking-to-push-on.aspx#.Usr7338gGK1

Having watched Poole at Swindon a few years back with so many engine failures in one meeting and the Joe Screen incident - yes I can categorically say that Poole cheated - not hearsay! Now, can you prove they didn't?
