  1. Let that be a lesson for him! Hopefully he will get additional rides in Europe - with him being the Aussie #2 Having said that - I'm sure he would have been the Swindon line-up if he had chosen just to ride EL. Just thought though - his Polish earning potential will be hampered/scuppered riding for a Saturday EL track!
  2. and push? Only joking - but the reserve positions this year bar a few pre-selected "ringers" are a joke anyway!
  3. This should hopefully confirm him as an EL only rider in future and prevent him from doubling down. It was ludicrous that a rider with his EL average was permitted to continue riding in the PL these last few years by virtue of the fact that he beat a cut-off!
  4. Not exactly in-depth reporting - the article doesn't really say much.
  5. You must have missed the small print Skiddely - free DVD of his heroics in the play-off final on the south coast in 2010!! Now that's got to be worth some serious sponsorship
  6. I have no idea but it is a form of sponsorship and, like Bomber's page, I don't see anything wrong with it. It was just interesting that Bomber was coming in for a lot of stick when clearly a number of speedway riders are using this as a way of funding their riding (albeit relatively small funding)
  7. I wonder if those criticising Bomber on the Coventry thread will have a go at Lewis?
  8. It's 3 points in 3 seasons actually - as his first regular team role was 2011!
  9. Marginal maybe in the last year - for which there may be reasons BUT 1.5 points in the previous year is hardly marginal
  10. If you look at a familyof 2 adults and 2 children U10 - thats £40 at Brum (2x£10+2x£5) or £34 at Swindon (2x£17+2x£0) [although 2014 prices haven't been released yet]
  11. It is on the Swindon website http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2125.2 It's not Nicolai now as he was delayed in Poland (according to his Twitter)
  12. The order they were announced means nothing. For some strange reason WWE wrestling is very popular.
  13. The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds?
  14. We already know its Nicolai Klindt - it was on Twitter
  15. I have to say that this is the most (only?) sensible thing you have said.
  16. So you don't like Bomber (in terms of his ability) or the fact that he is asking for sponsorship - that's fine. However, he is asking for sponsorship and that is his perogative - either contribute or don't but I'm sure there will be others who do contribute. I really don't see what the problem is.
  17. Probably because he isn't in the Coventry team
  18. I don't see anything wrong with this. How many times at a club are you asked to contribute to a certain rider to help them with fuel/tyres etc. the only difference here is that it is to fund his individual ambitions. People on here harp on about backing the Brits and here's an excellent opportunity for them to do just that. I wish Bomber well in the SGPs and hope he gets some funds through this medium. However, I won't be one of those part funding his personal ambitions.
  19. Ahhh! The new Ipswich. So finishing top of the pile last season wasn't enough for you and now you want preferential treatment? In case you hadn't noticed the EL for a number of years has been "dumbing down" to cater for the weakest teams and that is the source of many a discussion on here. The fact that a number if last years team didn't want to return and losing your team manager probably explains why Bjerre went elsewhere.
  20. So what?? Jason Crump was born in Britain too He has one parent who is British and that's all he needs
  21. Ah! That old chestnut and from a Poole fan too - what a surprise! NOT! He probably has as much right to being British as Tai Woffinden except Tai chose to ride for Britain and Nick chose to ride for Australia (after being mucked about by the BSPA I understand) I suggest you read up about patriality
