Gustafsson - get your coat! NOW! -
Then sort the track out!

Well he was the standout rider for Coventry at Poole on the TV!

What a close meeting until the last few heats. Well done Wolves and special mention to Dakota on his double figure score - that's more than Klindt would have got - even at Monmore. As others have said - it must be time to jettison Gustafsson. -
Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 14/5/2014

You are talking rubbish now. Of course Poole are the reigning champions. Say whatever you want but it won't change this fact just because you don't want to believe it -
Lucky man - it looked an awful crash. Although the Latvian wiped him out I'm sure he didn't mean to! I see the usual suspects on Twitter are calling for red cards to be introduced.

Actually, Poole ARE the reigning EL champions - to suggest otherwise will keep this topic going for another few pages -
I see you did some "backtracking" there yourself
-
Is that a Poole interpretation of the rules? It may not say it explicitly but I think the sprit of the rule is that you can only have two D/U riders
-
Maybe you could join it

Splitting hairs there methinks - Poole ARE current champions! -
And both bottle it in heat 14 when we need them to get a result!
-
Well done Swindon on the away win and winning the points without any dodgy weather and forced to go in p*ssing rain in heat 10 to get a result. Well done Robins

It was a joke - hence the emoticon! I don't care if he rides in this country again or not!
-
I'm not disputing that

If you had taken the time to read and understand my post, I said that others who were there said it wasn't downright dangerous. So we have differing opinions - it doesn't make you right and them wrong and as Jonny the Spud said - that's why we have referees
-
In your (not so) humble opinion. Others who were there too said it wasn't.
-
 I used to see Leigh Adams every week - it doesn't make my opinion any better than yours - so not really a way to win an argument I wasn't dissing Darcy and was merely pointing out the irony of the original post - why you feel you need to defend him is laughable though. He is probably the most naturally talented rider ever to ride a speedway bike but I'd be more worried about his inability to avoid injury rather than his eligibility to be captain of the century! ... and I'm not your mate
-
You can have Miedzinski if you want to buy him this time (at an increased price to reflect his higher average)

Interesting discussion. I find it interesting that someone mentioned that Cook isn't worthy of being captain of a club when they have Darcy Ward as their captain (when he's fit) - pot, kettle, black springs to mind! (And I like Darcy) The referee thought Cook was to blame for the incident so that's good enough for me as I wasn't there but we all know the referee gets it wrong sometimes. I don't think one racing incident makes Cook a dirty rider though. He does have a talent and he does appear to have self-belief and I can see the analogy others have made about Bridger. He is British and he is probably the best we have outside of Tai (who is going through his own nightmare so far this season) so let's hope he gets the support he needs to progress rather than vilified. It seems that some Poole fans think it's ok that they hurl abuse and lambast the lad while expecting him to go back round and check on the fallen rider. I wouldn't have hung around on track either getting abuse hurled at me. Time to move on - it was a racing incident...
