Hardly a surprise - we all could have predicted this. Its not cheating its playing within the rules (which Poole do all of the time) and it doesn't automatically mean that Bees are stronger (although after his performance at Swindon, I'm sure the Bees fans are hoping he will be their trump card now). On paper though Bees look stronger now - but will they be strong enough to beat the Pirates on their home shale?

Good luck to both teams on hopefully a dry track. May the best team win and have bragging rights over the winter!

Your logic is astounding (and not in a good way)! You seem to have connected two separate events that are exactly that - separate! For their part, BV were dealt with and they didn't even dig a hole in the middle of the first and second bends and go unpunished!! The farce we are referring to was NOT of Belle Vue's making.

Did you see the rain?! Fireworks and rain don't mix very well! The reports I have read almost exclusively said that the rain was worse on Thursday (what I saw on the telly, I tend to agree) . What Havvy has said is true - they did have the better gates to come - but the results are a lottery in those conditions (the night before Schlein had an E/F when on a paid win! With regards your second point - rider safety didn't come into it the night before so not a solid point you are making. Coventry did NOT ask for a track inspection or for the meeting to be called off - it seems the meeting steward made that decision!

And Batch, Williamson, King, Kennett, Morris et al are not Poole riders either. No one is trying to cheat - they are expressing an opinion that one rider would be a better option than another - which isn't going to happen unless Ben has aggravated his injury - I'm sure I saw him wince in the pits
