I didn't disagree that KL finished top - what I said is that it didn't matter! There were 4 teams in the play-offs and you need to beat the teams you are up against and POOLE did that - fair and square (apart from hole gate) - they were the best team in the play-offs. As I have also said - it is done and dusted! The records show that POOLE are champions (with absolutely no asterisk beside their name - no matter how much you want it)

I don't think anyone disagrees that they have now finished top - when you remove Darcy's points but we all know you win nothing for finishing top and the play offs are not invalidated as they were contested without Darcy. Why do you keep insisting that they would have an asterisk next to their name? They won it fair and square.

I don't think you get it - it changes nothing as far as 2014 is concerned. The play-offs were contested without said banned rider so it's gone. You can argue all you want that with KL having the pick things could have been different - but we will never know. You get it now?

He has always been committed to his clubs - so something must have happened at Leicester. He has always been very popular at the clubs he has ridden for - so much so I thought he would have seen his career out on loan to KL.

There are some at Swindon that don't but he would do a good job for Coventry. Pity he's not interested in riding in the UK this year!

A thread just to wind up the POOLE fans. 2014 season is finished with - there is nothing to be gained with ifs, buts and maybes. POOLE won the semis - without Ward and won the final - again without Ward and whatever anyone says, the record books show them as 2014 EL champions. Who cares who topped the league - it means absolutely nothing! Time to move along - nothing to see here!

I actually quite liked Gomolski. He was either great or poor and more often than not he was the latter except in a single race. I would have like to have seen us persevere with him but, given that our other reserve wasn't performing consistently either, it was an expected decision to drop him. When he comes back though, he has more experience and at a higher level so I expect him to make a mockery of his average. To be honest, I am surprised no other team thought to use him so well done to Poole if he is indeed confirmed.

You seem very bitter - what a difference a year makes when everyone else was penalised at reserve - didn't hear you moaning then Also, he wasn't the only rider left (there were 18 riders in tier 2) and he was picked and not assigned .... And you said that teams with only one decent rider were laughing. I would say that Kerr is one of the best from Tier 1 - so you must be laughing - according to you. Or moaning because you didn't get your own way. PS I'm sure Rose will bloom at Swindon :) I think I preferred not knowing what he looks like - I'll have nightmares now

I think you will find that he wasn't assigned - he was picked by your management team.
