  1. What you don't know - you make up! As you are aware, Swindon had a choice to make and Killer or Batch got the nod which is why Hans moved on or he would still be at Swindon - it was nothing to do with money or even down to Hans! I'm very surprised with the negative reaction on here against him as he would be the first name on any team that I would build. He has the odd howler (like any rider) but is generally a solid scoring number 1 and he has been very loyal to British Speedway and contributes well to the team off track too. Get behind him as there isn't a better option available!
  2. It seems that unless you like all things speedway then you are a miserable old sod or miserable arsed! It's good that some people thought there was an atmosphere but those that didn't aren't resorting to insults but offering reasons why they thought there was no atmosphere. I have always said that I look to be entertained for the money I pay and while it wasn't the worst meeting in the world I have seen much better. However, I felt there was no atmosphere and I was at the starting line too so we will just need to agree to differ and it will be a while before I consider parting with my cash for this mediocre entertainment again.
  3. It seems I wasn't the only one who thought there was no atmosphere. As for decent races, I guess I am just harder to please than you. I actually like that era in music but not at a sporting event in 2015!!!
  4. They confirmed Nicholls tonight - I didn't hear about the others
  5. I only went to this as was on holiday and it certainly didn't entertain me. Hans was good and EK was a different rider to the one we saw on TV last week but outside of those two, the riders were very inconsistent. Prior to the meeting, I'm sure they were playing 70's music (or very early 80's) and there was little or no atmosphere throughout the night. I have certainly lost my love of the sport and the tired presentation did nothing to rekindle my passion for the sport. Processional racing heat in heat out didn't help either!
  6. Coventry should win this and collect all points on offer
  7. When Bees signed JK, they became playoff certs along with Poole and KL. Well done on the win and this team could win the EL for what may be the last year at Brandon. Go Bees.
  8. So you only include fans in colours? I mean it's very stylish going about in bright blue anorak with a skull on it
  9. How do you know this - did you speak to everyone or are you going by the number of blue Wulfsport jackets? That hardly confirms there were more Poole fans than Swindon fans - I'd rather believe what Red Robin says anyway!
  10. Was never going to be on with the rain today - should have been called off long before now!
  11. Gentlemen's agreement probably. The same way that Josh was allowed to sign in the first place when the rules clearly state he isn't allowed except with the "express permission of the MC". And I fully expect Poole to re-declare again today so that they can still have Rory in the team. How many wrongs is that? The time has really come for the BSPA to have some integrity and stick to their rules and not allow clubs (one in particular) to continually manipulate them to their advantage!
  12. I got the impression that they knew that and were having a giraffe.
  13. I doubt tonight will be on unless it seriously brightens up and the wet stuff stops! You never know with the British weather though! If it is on, I would be interested in seeing if Rory lines up. Having re-declared they should not have a facility for Josh G!
  14. Surely having re-declared, you can't revert back on the day of a meeting - that just wouldn't be right imho
  15. Not if the morning is rained off - according to the rules
  16. If the morning meeting is rained off and Josh doesn't get to ride then surely Rory won't be allowed to guest in the evening for a rider who hasn't ridden for the club - given that Poole have re-declared!
  17. Can't believe Swindon's luck that Poole are bringing in a track specialist. Unfortunately, I think this swings things in favour of Poole
  18. And the moon is made of cheese! No way would I have KL at 1
  19. Unluckily I also saw the meeting live!! I'm pretty sure we can all appreciate the speed they go at and how little time they have to make decisions and how hard they hit the deck etc because on TV you get a clear view of the action! What you don't get on TV is the smell or the atmosphere but it looked like there wasn't any atmosphere last night!
  20. What's ridiculous about it? Fans pay their money to be entertained and that is what riders are supposed to do. If they don't like it they should find another profession to ensure there are still fans left! With your last sentence I can only deduce that the riders didn't feel confident on the track last night because they didn't perform
