Am I missing something and are you for real? Birks was dropped for Boxall who subsequently was injured and now you say a sacked rider should be banned for withholding their services!?!? If I was sacked from my job and my replacement was unwell and they asked me to come back and cover until my replacement was better - I would tell them where to go!!

I don't see what was harsh in the above. If KL fans are happy with his performance (given his history that you have listed although I don't see the relevance myself) then that's fine but if he is not very good what do you expect them to say? He wasn't very good but that's OK it's Kenneth? I don't think it is a case of recapturing anything - riders have bad nights, bogey tracks, feeling unwell etc - they aren't robots and will occasionally have a dreadful meeting. If these become too frequent then that is the time to worry and hope its not too late to strengthen.

Not if Harris rides like he did last night Except he's not a Swindon fan! He does have a point though! As I said at the time, how on earth could Newman be ranked so low - definitely fishy - especially as they all had genuine EL draft averages which would surely more fairer and have Newman in the top 2 or 3 and probably not race for Poole. Anyway, it is what it is and I hope he tries his best for the team he is representing!

This should be an easy home win since as several have already said, the team looks stronger than the standard 1-7. However, meetings are usually not won on paper but on the track so it will require everyone riding to their abilities. I will go for a 12 point home win.

If (and that's a hypothetical if) Swindon had the choice of Adrian Miedzinski or Darcy Ward and both could fit within the points limit (bearing in mind that Swindon are currently short of the team building total) - it is a bit of a no-brainer but I think we would have to see Adrian perform first.

I think that makes it worse (just like Poole would have done against Swindon). Having an EL heat leader guesting for a PL D/U rider just doesn't sit right with me - but it's within the rules - doesn't make it right though!

Don't think Magic would have as was behind both bees riders in race he fell in and then Rory & North were in better form than him on our track and scored well in his R/R rides. Agree though that Rory for Watf made huge difference as Watt never gets more than a 3rd or last on our track. Just to be clear - it was Rory guesting for Josh!
