  1. I think if you look at the teams with the most Brits, we have: Birmingham (4) - 57% of the team Swindon (3) - 43% Coventry (3) - 43% Lakeside (2) - 29% And the hall of shame: Belle Vue (1) - 14% Wolves (1) - 14% Kings Lynn (1) - 14% Eastbourne (0) - 0% Peterborough (0) - 0% Poole (0) - 0%
  2. Well done Tai Woffinden - Herculean effort last night with his injuries and clearly in pain through the meeting! And such a shame to see Pedersen fail to make the semis - NOT!
  3. Typical Pedersen - only one word for it - CHEAT! This continuity announcer cannot even say half if the riders names - Kasprzak ???
  4. Well done Tai - great to hear our national anthem - it's been a long time!
  5. If Woffinden wins tonight - I won't mind the fact that the racing has been poor. Come on #woffywoffywoffy
  6. What a dull, dull, dull meeting! Don't think I've seen any overtaking
  7. Have to say I quite enjoyed the presentation tonight - Rosco was better than Tatum and was good to hear from Woffy too. A good close meeting for the cameras too!
  8. Have to say that the ref got this decision spot on. Nicki clamped him down going into the bend - they touched almost forcing Chris onto the grass - he hit a wet bit as a result straightened up and the rest is history. Would have been harsh to exclude anyone.
  9. I wasn't getting at stevebrum but didn't notice any wink smiley on Steve Shovlar or scottyfan's posts I did notice you've changed your avatar from the union flag to the English one
  10. Apart from you being racist, all "jocks" do not hate the English - although I'm beginning to go off a couple of them
  11. Apologies - I didn't realise you were the mouthpiece for millions. Have to say, there seemed to be a lot of Brits cheering him on on Sunday both inside and outside! Anyway - back to the speedway - its Team GB!
  12. It is Team GB!! it was good enough for you lot when Andy Murray got to the final of Wimbledon
  13. No competition - the SGPs by the proverbial mile The good thing about the SGPs over the old World Final (similar to the league versus play-off) is that the champion is determined over the season rather than on a night - this, for me, provides a true champion as it levels out the track biases. Like the play offs, the organisers need to be careful that it doesn't just become a money making exercise - they should remember it should be the best of the world's riders - no disrespect to Ljung and Bunyan who aren't!
  14. Eh? It says fantastic team to me! And what a great bunch of riders! In the current economic climate we couldn't afford to put anything like that out - but we can all dream. What we do have is affordable but just not "Elite"!
