I don't think Zengi was ever close to being dropped. It was obviously between him and Kyle but it was a no brainer - and that is no disrespect to Kyle who was having a great season.

Thoughts are with Darcy and hope the move to the UK goes well. Wishing him as full a recovery as possible for the next chapter in his life. Was always a pleasure watching such a talent on a speedway bike and always "box office" both on and off the track.

When I thought about this yesterday, there was only one name that sprang to mind and that was Jason Doyle - a number 1 and knows the tracks well (and continues the team Aussie theme). Having said that I would much rather have Darcy in the team and that he is OK after his accident.

It was always going to be Howarth. What is strange is how long it has taken since he was released by Swindon.
