  1. Both Newman and Garrity have their strengths and weaknesses. If I was putting a 1-7 together, I would go with Garrity ahead of Newman.
  2. Have to agree about age. Look at the Grin - still at the top of his game at his age!! However, if he does lose form, people will blame it on his age
  3. If they are a student then they are a student no matter what wealth they have or have access to!
  4. That may be the case but they were (allegedly) within the rules so no sanctions. BV on the other hand ...
  5. That'll be Poole then (which we all knew anyway and got a predictable response from a Poole fan)
  6. What 2 British clubs are they? The fixtures are in the UK so that should explain who has first call on his services IMHO - unless you know differently and not just your opinion ?
  7. As you say common sense has prevailed but in the UK they are both contracted to one club - Swindon so I think it does matter that they ride for their UK club. It does seem that someone at Swindon dropped a clanger though as Rosco was thanking KL for their understanding in getting matters resolved.
  8. Details at http://swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2632 but doesn't tell you what you want to know
  9. As said on the KL thread why would it depend on what meeting was arranged first - he is a contracted Swindon asset required by this team on that night. When did we give foreign teams priority to use our riders when in the UK? He has to ride for Swindon regardless of when the meetings were arranged.
  10. Eh? Correct me if I'm wrong but both are Swindon riders and should be riding for Swindon irrespective of what was arranged first. The way it usually works is that as both are contracted Swindon assets, they would ride for Swindon. Why on earth would anyone think it was alright for them to ride for other teams instead of Swindon - one of which isn't even a UK team!! Unbelievable!
  11. It doesn't matter IMHO!! If Doyley or Nicj Morris ride at KL on the same night Swindon is at Somerset then that is wrong - plain and simple!
  12. In this country both Nick Morris and Jason Doyle are contracted to ride in Swindon fixtures so I cannot see either riding an international select meeting at KL - so I would expect KL fans to be the disappointed ones.
  13. Just saw on the BSPA website that Simon Lambert is having a testimonial in August - good luck to him. However, how come that we have a 10 year veteran still an FTR rider - hardly fast track!
  14. Also the worst team over the last 10 years has to be Belle Vue - although they turned things around last season
  15. WE? What number are you riding at? And who is this Hans Anderson fellow? Only one talking about Poole cheating is yourself - maybe you are right!
  16. Yes - he's gash!! Also may have something to do with the fact that he should be a heat leader and who would want him as a heat Leader?? There's your answer paper boy!
  17. It IS that bad! It isn't for me to say who they should get - I was commenting on the team that they have assembled and it's a very poor looking team IMHO.
  18. I'm afraid that looks a shockingly poor team and if/when they replace PUK with Batch - it will be even worse. A season of struggle unless they strengthen.
  19. Signing Tungate was a no brainer for the 2016 Roooobins - although it does weaken the team.
