That would make sense but speedway in the UK always tries to accommodate the weakest rather than encourage teams to aspire to the strongest one. Several years ago, it was Ipswich who were the weakest and impacting other successful teams. Its all swings and roundabouts.

Bit of a memory issue? Both Adam and Jason have been part of title winning teams with Swindon! -
Sheffield v Birmingham 3/4 Premiership R1

I think you are trying to split hairs there. The fence is the perimeter of the track and it caused an accident on the track. If the fence wasn't there - you think the track would be safe then? -

Although not a Sheffield rider, I would say that Sayfutdinov would disagree with you! -
Looks like the site's certificate has expired hence the connection not private warnings.

Cropping won't do much - you need to save it at a lower resolution (quality).

I agree. Having lost Swindon a few years ago, the only speedway for me has been on Eurosport/Discovery+ which I have enjoyed. I have absolutely no intention of spending £30 a month on top of my current Sky subscription to purchase additional sports from TNT only one of which I am interested in watching.

Now he would be a good choice if he was interested in coming back to the UK but I don't think that would happen.

Are you some sort of cyber traffic warden? Lighten up - its nearly Christmas

Out of the two teams in the final though - the best team won - and at a canter as Leicester appeared to be outclassed in all departments over both legs.

Musielak has always wanted to ride in the UK since he started riding for Swindon (and Wolves before) - his commitment and availability have never been an issue.... until he went to KL.
-
Lets be honest - they would have easily won the league this season if it wasn't for their injuries.

Because he is British? And should be supporting British speedway? I appreciate he can ride where he wants but it doesn’t sit well with me.

Ipswich vs Leicester play off Semi-final 9th Sept

Well done Leicester - never looked like going through to the final all evening until heat 15. Commiserations to Ipswich who really need to release King next season. -

Shocking decision by the ref to exclude Rew. She was probably the only person on the planet that thought he was at fault. Terrible decision -

Building a mini Swindon (and title winning) with Doyle, Musielak and Ellis -
They race under the banner Team GB so to answer your question no - England won’t achieve a 1-2-3.

I have to say that for such a great track where great racing is almost guaranteed, it was a shame to see such an empty stadium on Eurosport. It is not good for the sport to attract a new audience (or even keep the old audience) when the best stadium in the country looks near empty. I felt the same during SON when the temporary stand was up and empty each night until the final and then only a smattering of people. Sadly the sport in the UK continues on the decline in terms of attracting people's disposable income and possibly because they are trying to use a formula that has been used for 50+ years that has brought about its decline. They need to look for ways of making speedway great again or at least stopping its decline.

Great meeting! Great result! Great Britain! Biggest disappointment for me was seeing the temporary stand with what looked like <100 people
