I reckon that could be down to him being sat in a hard-top car, unlike the other two guys who got to wave to all the fans. Did feel a bit sorry for him. Perhaps there's only 2 soft top ferrarisin Sweden? He certainly looked in good spirits when he was on the podium - laughing with Crumpy -

We're hoping to emmigrate to OZ in the next 2 years (visa application takes ages) and I was looking to see how popular speedway is over there. We're moving to Perth and it certianly doesn't appear to be popular around there (Western Australia), so maybe there's not enough demand to get a GP? -

I've got a few quid on Pedersen to win this one. Just his style to spoil it for someone else (TRick) -
Danish Grand Prix - Copenhagen

I presume Tony uses his GP bikes/mechanics etc in his league meetings? I've not checked (hung over), but I heard he isn't doing all that great in his meetings this year??!! If his bike was that much better in GPs, he'd be wiping the floor with league riders. So maybe it is a confidence thing, as has been mentioned? When he's interviewed he sounds excited to be doing what he's doing, as though he feels no pressure and just gets on with it, for the fun of it. Maybe the confidence thing is a snowball effect, but in his league meetings perhaps he does feel pressure because his results aren't as good as they could be? I dunno. -

Any insinuating that TonyR is cheating, with regards his engine, I know from experience tha twit won't be the case. I have raced at a very low level in motorsport and even there they are very stringent on scruiteneering. There is absolutely no chance that he will be cheating mechanically without being caught. The rules are checked very rigidly the higher up the levels you get and there is no chance he is getting away wilth any kind of rule-breaking, seriously, so let's stop mentioning that! Do you think if any of the other GP guys believed there was even a slight doubt of mis conduct they wouldn't be all over it, yet it's never mentioned - the reason - TR is NOT cheating - he is going to be the 2005 legitimate champ! Just because he is so much better than everybody else does not mean he is cheating or bending the rules. TR and his mechs are just producing the best package by far. Let's not critisise him, let's critisise the rest who can't keep up and congrtaulate TRick, however much we may not want to. He is just having a blinder, and that's coming from a big Crump fan! -

A BIG well done to all the finalists but especially TRick, obviously. Apart from his obvious talents, his bike is so good!!! His mechanic team deserve serious respect too. -

Deary me, I was about to quote you and agree with a previous post for the first time in a year (ish) of reading and (a lesser time) of posting on this forum, but then you couldn't resist a dig at the Aces could you . I feel sorry for you, really I do. But it'll pass -

My two mates cannot come to cardiff due to serious family problems and so are selling their tickets. They've got me to post them on ebay here for them. it is only a 1-day auction so there is plenty of time to post them out etc. They are on at a starting price of £0.01 with no reserve and a buy-it-now option of £75 for the pair. They are in section L1 and are two seats together, priced at £50 each face-value so a real bargain to be had by someone. I'll get a pic on their as well as exact seat and row numbers as soon as i have the tickets in my hand this afternoon. Paypal only. sorry to post adverts, if it's not allowed, but with it being such a short auction, they needed some advertisement just to get them sold. see u all there! cappy

I'll be there, sampling my first Cardiff GP. Sitting in L1, row 16 (i think). Not been to millenium Stadium before but presumed the 1st bend would be a good place to watch. Anyone know whether the L1 area has a decent view? cappy
