Lakeside did this one year, a freebie for the meeting on SKY against Poole. The amount of cars trying to get into the stadium actually caused traffic issues on the M25!

2 of the gents from the Eastbourne consortium went looking for sites suitable to stage speedway and Wealdon district council (Sussex) told them that they would never grant planning for any site anywhere in Sussex and that Arlington was the only place in Sussex it could be run. Hopefully the council your dealing with are more sympathetic.

You would hope not, before the fixture list is sorted they should be saying the British final is on this date so plan around as you can't run on this date. Then promote the event, run coaches from league tracks if the interest is there, get the event out to the public.

I have no idea, I just got a feeling the authorities are now behind this and Flagrags post seems to back this up. 2 & 2 and all that.
