I agree and should improve on away form, a side that has pretty much already gelled..
That top line says a lot about the side when you look at it. Strong enough to let Tom Brennan ease back but I very much doubt he will need time. Team spirit will be high as its only really Drew Kemp as a newbe, the Eagles will build and fly high this year..
Agree, as a kid I watched many a rider grow up on that track and watched Kelly Moran, Erik Gundersen, Shawn Moran ride it to name a few for fun.
The likes of Paul and Martin Dugard, David Norris, Mark Loram, The Standings, David Howe all grew up riding that track, a conveyer belt for a few riders..
Looking at other teams I would say top six easily.
Lots of scope for improvement and most importantly the team has gelled already, on and off the track.
I like the look of this team, its well put together with a solid look and bags of potential.
Far more balanced than last year and could be a force away from Arlo but of course we are yet to see other teams.
Gordon Kennett. I watched him as a kid at school when he was at the top of his game and then enjoyed him when he dropped down a division to spearhead Eastbourne once more. One of the most underrated riders England has had, an Eastbourne legend..
Not at all Bob my old Arena buddy.. Yes Eastie will now look towards cup meetings this season. I did say, good at home but shocking away, its a year of re building and the cup runs are a bonus built on that cauldron of hate they call Arlington..
Still, and you won't like this, Jon Cook and Eastie are a marriage made for each other. Judge the complete package in a year or so..
We are not exactly the form team away from Arlo, but you never know..
Im not disappointed with how our season has gone, giving young Edwards rides is a good thing for next season. Fantastic at home, shocking away but its a season of re building, I would expect us to be a different side away next season..
