  1. My Football team is playing in an hour, at home to Leeds in a sell out crowd of around 27000 paying fans. We loose well over £20 million a year, worst was £32 Million a few years back. That's mind boggling..
  2. Your taking that post out of context and I think you know that. Yes he turned left on VF but rode right into him.
  3. I don't really want to quote myself but I pointed out the issue over a year ago.
  4. I said this before, he was doing this in his first season, hope he changes this but I can't see it..
  5. I was at Iwade just over a week ago to watch Eastbourne V Lakeside, a small track that was slick. Eddie Kennett rode a 1984 upright and you could see the power difference the laydowns had over him from the start. Once the laydowns had the advantage Eddie rode really well on it making up ground on riders and looked far more in control and exciting to watch. You could see the power difference of course but got me thinking that this would be a far better meeting with them all on uprights..
  6. It was announced at Iwade last week that Michael Grey and David Graveling have applied to join the NDL running at the track with a Sussex Kent team..
  7. I had a movement this morning, funnily enough, reminded me of your posts..
  8. New club, not Eastbourne if the article is read..
  9. Wonderfull servant to the sport, only met him a couple of times, RIP Len Silver.

  11. No, Arran Butcher replaces Jody..
  12. When he first came on the scene I watched him a few times on TV and he was shutting off a lot then when in traffic, I pointed this out on here, is it confidence or just plain fear?
  13. Adam was world kettle ball champion a few years ago.
  14. Couldn't believe it when he said that, correct call by the medical team, two bangs on the head.
  15. Eastbourne fan so obviously Oxford but I spent a few years living in a village called Chinnor so watched Oxford during the Hans Nielsen, Martin Dugard Simon Wigg era, so Oxford for me..
  16. Anyway, this is more about supporting two great clubs back in action than highlighting the off track struggles..
  17. No, NDL was never on the cards, they just don't want it back, simple..
  18. Hammers line up Alfie Bowtell Jack Kingston Ben Morley Rhys Naylor Jason Edwards Jacob Clouting Two teams close to my heart, Eastbourne being my team and also Lakeside due to my involvement with Adam Shields, now many years ago..
  19. Really sad and the track still sits there and the stadium is still in use, but its not Bob now but Eric and Paul unfortunately.
  20. Not while the Dugard's own Arlington no and this could be the last representative side put together by Michael and David.
  21. The Wimborne road track has never really been spot on has it..
  22. I know it really shouldn't be in this section but come on, give me some slack on this to get some publicity! Eastbourne Eagles are riding on Sunday at Iwade Sittingbourne against the Thurrock Hammers (Arena/Lakeside) The meeting starts at 12pm. Gates open at 10am, Raspberry lane, ME9 8SP Adults £13 Concessions (60+) £10 Children under 16 free with a paying adult. And what a line up managed by Eagles legend, Dave 'Floppy' Norris. Scott Nicholls Edward Kennett Nathan Ablitt Paul Starke Jody Scott Henning Loof. Should be good fun with that line up!
