  1. Re the Birmingham fixture, OK I'm in Brighton 30 miles away but it has not stopped raining since I got up at 5.30 and doesn't look like it will stop for a while. I think its the best call both financially and weather wise..
  2. Thats a very good point that not many people including promoters have considered. The start of the season there was not too many places/social events open so it was one of the stand out places to go for a night out Now the country has come out of lockdown and the social scene has opened up it would be interesting to see if a lot of clubs attendences have dropped from that point onwards, ominous signs if gates have fallen nationwide if thats the trend.
  3. TBF, always a good side and a team running into form at the right time of the season. I would have thought most would have gone with a home win today..
  4. Eastie will be operating the tractor replacement facility next week
  5. Signs are that he's good around Foxall Heath, not much else
  6. Might be worth getting off at Polegate train station, closer to the track and a cheaper taxi fare..
  7. Yes its a shame about the double headers.. Its a good move to take Jason out of the firing line and put Ablitt in for a bit, both have talent but Ablitt looks to have more confidence at the moment
  8. Nathan Ablitt replaces Jason Edwards in the Eastbourne line up
  9. And Eastbourne didn't have 2 riders, the engine room of our team, so what's your point? Sour grapes and a poor loser
  10. 15 point max for Eddie tonight, riding himself back into form..
  11. Rain in Brighton and moving towards the east..
  12. That will upset you then Bob, just as negative about Eastbourne as you was about Lakeside and British speedway in general.. I do enjoy reading your posts though, if I ever need to cheer myself up I just look at your cheery persona and think my life must be great...
  13. let them rot if they are making noises about coming back to the UK, they didnt want to ride here when they thought they had better elsewhere..
  14. He has been out of form but the change in rider order has worked wonders, 8 from 4 is a good return away so the pressure of being an out of form number 1 has gone. Eastbourne are very unlikely to replace Ed
  15. Brighton is my home so if you need any help with what the City can offer, message me. Im in zone 2 tomorrow otherwise I would come and say hello Enjoy your time down here and hopefully some good speedway.
  16. Eastbourne's change in riding order has worked well. A solid performance all round and as I said, never say never for an away win. The Eagles have clicked into form tonight, hope we can build up some momentum against Glasgow on Sunday.
  17. It is looking good now for Sunday, what part of the stadium have you booked @Tigeratheart ?
  18. Agree about Kerr and Kennett but I would say the change in rider order makes us look a lot stronger IMO Never say never about an away win..
  19. I think the new rider line up makes us a lot stronger
  20. Eastbourne: Richard Lawson, Kyle Newman, Edward Kennett, Tom Brennan, Lewi Kerr, Jason Edwards, Drew Kemp.
  21. Don't take this as fact because I don't know how true it is but rumours that this will be Ed's last season so I don't think they will drop him.
