Eastbourne's change in riding order has worked well. A solid performance all round and as I said, never say never for an away win. The Eagles have clicked into form tonight, hope we can build up some momentum against Glasgow on Sunday.
-
It is looking good now for Sunday, what part of the stadium have you booked @Tigeratheart ?
-
Agree about Kerr and Kennett but I would say the change in rider order makes us look a lot stronger IMO Never say never about an away win..
-
Shame there is no live stream to watch
-
I think the new rider line up makes us a lot stronger

Eastbourne: Richard Lawson, Kyle Newman, Edward Kennett, Tom Brennan, Lewi Kerr, Jason Edwards, Drew Kemp.

Don't take this as fact because I don't know how true it is but rumours that this will be Ed's last season so I don't think they will drop him. -

I have to say the stream was really good, much better than I thought it would be and a fair price too. Loaded it up on my smart TV so had the big screen experience in the lounge, very good indeed. It's been a strange season for the Eagles, they are much better than results are showing and bottom of the league at this point is somewhat misleading I think. They need more meetings to ride into form, had a break from racing and now 3 meetings in 5 days next weekend, that doesn't help at all. We do have a few problems but I think we will make the play off's and momentum is everything at that point, you win the league over 4 meetings.. -

Track looking slick apparently -
Knocking noise then lost compression unfortunately..

Old Bob was the same on the Lakeside forum, came across with a strange dislike of the club, its riders and management. He comes across as bitter to the sport in general but I'm sure the old boy has a heart of gold if anybody ever meets him at a tract in the south east.. Eastbourne win BTW
-
That doesn't sound at all promising

Bridger has officially retired now on his social media page..

13 from 5 rides today for Eastbourne from Tom Brennan. Don't forget he missed most of 2019 with a bad leg break and of course most of 2020 due to covid. This lad looks a top prospect

Long shot I know, but I don't suppose you was the gentleman I was talking to today on turn two? -
EASTBOURNE V KENT K O CUP 6th June

Apart from Nicholls and Starke who got better as the meeting went on, Kent didn't turn up today, the rest was very poor indeed. Both Brennan and Kemp excellent for Eastbourne, Kennett seems under power to me. I would say a definite collarbone break for Kerr in what was an awkward looking spill, classic looking collarbone tumble although obviously I do hope I'm wrong. -

I Will, long time Eastie fan from 1976, so you would think we would be at loggerheads him being a primate and myself a budgie.. One of the nicest guys you can meet trackside and yes I enjoy his posts on here, humour and digging at fans, riders and clubs but this is a forum and should be both discussion and fun. Always a welcome poster on this site and thats from a budgie as he would describe me.. -

Hey Steve, are you down in Sussex today? I can't make this evening otherwise it would of been good to catch up again, not seen you since my Adam Shields days and thats a good while back now! Next time the clubs face up again I will make a point of catching up, stay safe and enjoy the speedway.. -
If this is true and hes lost his nerve then he needs to quit the sport fairly quick before he hurts himself with over cautious thinking on track. ive seen it happen to a few riders and they never get their nerve back unfortunatly.

The Sussex area around Arlington is clay based so holds water but they are pretty good at getting meetings on, hope it holds off enough

I had my first covid jab about a month or so back, felt fine. Went to work next day feeling great, mid morning started to feel a bit iffy and by the evening I was awful I know a lot of people who have had no reactions from the jab but know an awful lot more that have been really unwell with it like myself. Don't judge
