  1. My appologies but I can see the confusion now, these two tractors went a while ago, 1 I thought was scrapped but looks like its running. The remaining and fully running tractor is still at the stadium ready for use, another will be needed though.
  2. This was known from the start so not new, I'm just surprised they are listed as both tractors are owned by different people, one of them is scrapped anyway Fake news I think because I cant find a listing.
  3. Just out of interest, have you got a link to this please?
  4. Tom's the better rider with more potential, and an Eagle at heart...
  5. Tom missed almost 2 seasons through injury and covid, last season was his first full season in 3 years
  6. Really feel for the Panthers fans, this doesnt look too good.
  7. Im on Safari and its not working for me either
  8. Its a government stipulation , nothing to do with the BSPL
  9. To be fair I remember him at Eastie in 1990 and looked ok for us but we obviously let him go.
  10. He works for Eastbourne sponsor Robins of Herstmonceux
  11. It doesn't count as a top league but he's still riding in it.
  12. Or even more simplistic, have an overall team limit but a limit on the top 2 or 3 riders within the overall limit.
  13. Some good ideas The problem is and will be top end strength at div 2 level, I feel this is where some form of regulation needs to be in order to have a competitive league
  14. There will be a lot to factor into 2023, league structures, availability of riders, too soon to speculate about that just yet..
  15. A lot going on in the background, hurdles to jump and finance to place but its being worked on and more than hopeful for 2023
  16. We are never going to compete with Polish rates but Sweden is not looking good if reports are true on a number of issues, we shall see as 2022 unfolds..
  17. Sad for this year of course but as said in the original press release, Eric & Margaret Dugard are keen to see speedway return to the venue..
  18. Yes it is showing as active still and no it wont have any effect other than the bad feeling left over
  19. I have no idea, we have tried to find out but that came to nothing
  20. As far as im aware nothing has been paid back to anybody and the Company that Ian Jordan ownes (Eastbourne Eagles Ltd) is still active Sadley, Les fineing passed away last week, a great supporter of the club and a fine man
  21. This is a major problem and one of the reasons Eastbourne are taking a year out with having to join the league so late and with no rider assets. The only way round this I feel is to make just 2 leagues next season with a few of the Championship clubs moving up to the top league and a few of the third tier teams moving up to the Championship. A watered down championship with some form of control over top end strength at that level. But, and it's a big but, will fans and clubs want this? Also the riders won't want this as this will limit doubling up and they won't want that as earnings will drop for them making it unfeasible for them to ride financially. Its a very difficult situation we have for the next few years but one that needs to be addressed if we are to move forward in the UK
  22. Yeah your right, it is Colin, my bad
