I watched Eddie at Kent last season and a few people said the same who watched him at some grass track.. Looked really good at the start of the meeting but then you could see him struggling with his arm.
Hope that's recovered another year down the line and I'm really hoping he scores a good few points for Ippo.
Money has always been there in Poland for a while. When I worked with Adam Shields he top scored in an away meeting that Leszno won, they gave him 2 brand new engines for that performance and Thats going back a good few years now.
In the 80's Eastbourne had a Polish rider, Robert Slabon. You could see he had ability but struggled around the tight Arlington raceway and a few away tracks. Went up to the shay and he looked a world beater, won his first two heats but in his third, hit the fence big time and badly broke his arm.
