Just goes to prove the BSPL don't fully know how many clubs are coming to tapes in the top league.
-
That would be down to the Kent promotion to say if they wish too..
-
Had the same 3 heat leaders lined up too.
-
He also rode for the Kent Eagles but I bet he does get the reduction..
-
He didn't ride last season so gets 8% off then the 2.5%
-
Teams need to state they are running by the 20th.
-
A guy called Shaun Brown who posted on this site as SCB @Pinny knows who I'm talking about.
-
It was a dreadfull interview, bloke couldn't even name last years team..

That's the one I always use, fantastic site.

I refuse to even look at that site based on who runs it, a convicted repeat sexual offender.

That's the problem, they are reactive not proactive. -
I watched the last round of the Aussie championship this morning, Cairns rode in support and had 1 ride in the meeting, what has he done to his face? looked a right mess

I spoke with one of the guys about 2 weeks ago and the answer was still no and yes the BSPL have approached them. This is why 2 of the guys went off and set up the Kent Eagles at Iwade. Its been 4 years now since speedway ran at Arlington, the track is now down to its base and all the equipment would need to be replaced including a new fence so even if the nod was given, it would be a substantial amount of money just to get to tapes. -
Train up local riders in the hope of making them professional speedway riders.. If all clubs took this attitude we wouldn't be producing any riders for the future.
-
No, they've signed him for the greater good of Poole speedway, they are not training and developing riders for the grater good of British speedway or the riders themselves.

They did try -
That's probably cost him a fair bit of cash
-
Was it that good though? I remember Michael Lee failing to turn up at Eastbourne to face Gordon Kennett and rode in another fixture, possibly abroad, can't remember now.
-
Im an Eastbourne fan, enjoyed good natured banter over the years, wish we still had it. But this person is beyond boring, and just childlike.
-
Watched him as a junior at Eastbourne, had that broken leg which had a lot of complications, he lost his Mum from an early age, I Sponsored him in his early days and went through the Eastbourne times when he didn't get paid, like all riders, by Ian Jordan. You could tell as a junior, he was a talent.

What will 2026 UK speedway bring?

Every business should have its own business plan, but if the collective business model of the industry they work in is failing, then its going to fail despite their individual efforts.
