My wife had a BB for her illness so I am quite aware of the difficulties people can have, and agree that this is has been handled very badly by the Panthers. However, one thing that springs to mind on my (albeit infrequent) visits to the showground is just how many people parking inside the gates manage to literally run back to their cars to try & beat all the people walking back to the car park. Obviously these aren't people here that have genuine concerns and need to park inside the gates, but still manage to do so. To be fair, when we used BB parking it took us so long to get back to the car, pack away the walking aides/wheelchair & get settled that the crowds had long cleared. This gave me a bit of a thought, maybe the people leaving the BB parking could wait 10-15 mins until the crowds have cleared a bit and this would satisfy the concerns of the club. Maybe this is unworkable, but you would have thought the club would explore a few more options before a blanket ban.

Before this season I wasn't convinced he could cut it in the GP series. He had already dispelled that before tonight with his performances this season. His performance in Gorzow proves without any doubt that he has the heart to compete at the very highest level. He should be very proud of that performance.

That was a brilliant GP, the racing there is usually great but tonight seemed to be better than usual. The second semi-final was one of the best races I have seen for a long time. Fair play to Woffinden, I was one of those that didn't think he would make must impression on the GP's after his selection, but he was excellent tonight.

I know that the general feeling is that Pearson & Tatum aren't particularly good (which I have to say I agree with), but Wade Aunger did prove how hard a job it is, by consistently calling the wrong riders and coming out with some total BS. Apparently a bike length behind is tailed off (ala Greg Hancock in one ride). That said, I agree it was better staying at the track rather than having to go back to the studio to hear the same dull comments, from the same dull guests. All in all a decent start from Eurosport, it will be interesting to see whether they have anything new to add to the production once we get back to Europe.

Peterborough did something similar with local businesses a few years ago, I managed to get hold of a couple of tickets so the three of us went along. It meant that we only paid for our son to get in, but we did spend money on programmes, food & drink. Unfortunately it was one of those nights where the showground was like a ploughed field and we spent longer watching tractors go around the track than bikes. The clubs need to do something to try and get more people interested. Excalibur communications who sponsor Swindon (Football & Speedway), have just announced that they have bought 2013 tickets for one of the stands at Swindon, and will be giving the tickets away to local football clubs for the Good Friday game.

Hat's off to MJJ on his GP win, but that must have been the most boring GP of all time. And even though you knew it was going to be a gaters paradise (it was Vojens after all), they outdid themselves with that meeting. I just hope that the local track staff are allowed to prepare the track in Torun, at least then we might get a fair fight for the Title

I'm in no way condoning what Gollob did, because it was disrespectful to his fellow riders. However, how dangerous was it really, he did park his bike on the inside of the track, in fact it was behind the point where the start marshall stood to show the 1 lap & chequered flag, so not likely to be in anyones way. The way that some people on here are reacting, (ban him for the season ) you would have thought he had parked it in the middle of the track on the racing line. He needs a fine, and possibly a suspended sentence. For me, I would make him apologise to all his fellow competitors (especially those in the race).

I don't believe this gentleman’s agreement applied when Nicki rode Greg Hancock into the fence in a previous GP (some years back admittedly). FWIW, I think Hans assessment was about right, Nicki was racing for a gap that wasn’t there, and got his wheel caught on Laguta’s footrest, after that both of them were passengers in the accident. Not Nicki’s biggest fan, but he didn’t do anything wrong in this instance, not that I think Greg did either it was just one of those things that happen in racing. Most importantly I hope his injuries are not too severe and he is back on his bike soon.

Simple answer has to be YES. The reserve should only be allowed to take ONE ride in each group of 5, and should not be allowed to ride for double points.

There are those that are created by GOD him/herself (don't want to upset the ladies as well).

He's not as classless as the idiot that ran into him earlier in the meeting, yet still tried to blame it on the guy who he ran in to. He's living up to his cry-baby tag now though isn't he. He's great when everything is going his way (including the decisions, see Cardiff last year), but when anything goes against him (including bad luck), he just cries & whinges like a big baby. Let him clear off & take a holiday, at least the people left behind might show a bit of respect towards each other. With regards to the meeting, it's difficult to know what they can do with the man made tracks. The either seem to be slick bore-fests (like last night), or dangerous rutted nightmares (like Gothenburg , and in all probability Cardiff). I guess it comes down to whether you want Speedway in big stadiums or not. That said, Ole & his team seem to manage to made slick bore-fests out of some of the best permanent tracks in Europe too.

No doubt that the best team won so congrats to the Danes. Not a fan of the Danes generally, but Nicki Pedersen was the proverbial Captain Fantastic (even though he wasn't the team Captain). Every time we went over to the pits he seemed to be constantly in the ear of the other riders encouraging & motivating them. I'm sure it wouldn't have made a big difference to the overall outcome of the meeting, but surely after this they need to consider the option of a reserve for these meetings. Australia were obviously able to cover Jason's rides with the other guys, but only because they were 6 points down. If at any point they had got back into contention, they wouldn't have been able to use them. I'd like to see a number 6, who is allowed to take one ride in every set of 5 races regardless of the score, that way he could cover an injury. PS Hope Crump is not too badly hurt.

To be fair this seems to happen every year at the World Cup. The track is set up one way for practice, and is then completely different for the actual meeting. Can't remember the year, but when the World Cup Final was in the UK, the GB team asked for a grippy track, only to turn up for the Final and Ole had decreed firm & slick. Not that for one second do I think he prefers them that way because that's how the Danes like it

Probably the worst Speedway meeting of all time. You had some of the worlds top riders, who basically couldn't race each other because of a pi** poor racing surface. it was so bad that I turned ober and watched a documentary on the World Rally Championship (much more entertainment). It always happens when Olsen gets his own way. I remember a comment from Mark Loram a few years back when one of the SWC rounds was held in the UK. He said that the GB team had asked for plenty of dirt on the track, to make it a grippy racing surface. When they turned up for the meeting it was a gaters paradise with little or no grip for anyone. When asked why this was the case, it was "Because that's what Ole wanted". The only good thing is that the final is in Poland. Hopefully the Poles will make it to the final, and they will then ignore what Olsen wants, and prepare a speedway track that the riders can race on.

Throwing anything (particulary bottles) at Riders is not acceptable, and nor are Physical threats towards the riders. There is no doubt that the best team won, but wouldn't it be nice if the Danes (including the manager) could have shown some class in victory. Instead of moaning & whingeing about the decision that went against them. You didn't see Leigh Adams moan about the equally harsh decision that went against the Australians, he was very honest in his remarks, that at the end of the day the best team won.

It's the spoiled brat thing that bugs me about it. He rides other people hard, but cries & whinges like a little girl when someone does it back to him. If you are going to be a hard aggressive rider, then fine. But surely you have to accept that other people are going to treat you in the same way.
