Surely not when compared to previous 3 or 4 seasons. I only have reported attendances from Speedway Star to go by but even last year's crowds seemed down. (Re the Star I notice that their Polish reports have stopped quoting attendances this year, wonder why?)

Hardly that. If you had seen the situation in the office selling the tickets on the day they were announced you would have a different opinion. However, after all the (personal) money that the directors have put into this venture over the last 7 years or so you cannot expect them not to try to recoup some of that ASAP.

Can't help feeling that the away team management beat themselves in this match with their complaints about the track. Just 4 points behind before the Janowski crash and then gave away 2 5-1's and a 4-2 after the complaints. Psychology was all wrong by the away team management. ( All IMHO of course).

Yep agree. Always have a soft spot for Torun as only venue I have attended as a spectator. Albeit the old stadium! (except for Bydgoscz in GP).
