  1. Just seen a man who must have a great sense of humour because his 5yr old boy was called Alan

  2. Swindon ain't no Bradford City that's for sure!

  3. Looks like everyone's going to have to start paying to hire a room for Parties now that The Spot is closing.

  4. I'd put Leigh Adams in this category, especially in the GPs, it wasn't until his 30s he started to actually become a contender too win it. 2007 (I think) was year he finished 2nd overall. He would have been well into his 30s then.
  5. The joys of being a parent - getting the bogeys out of your child's nose ????????

  6. In about 4yrs time (I think) you can expect a pic of my boy starting his first day of school.

  7. Because a below par Nicholls would have scored more than King 3 experienced riders and 2 inexperienced riders would have been the best combo IMHO
  8. Spot on Hopefully people will now realise how important it is to have somebody who can gate with the best of them instead of someone who tries really really hard at the back!
  9. Only in Speedway would you see some fans thinking that not putting out our strongest team for a World Cup a good thing
  10. Rico would most probably score 10 or 12 which I think that's who orion was referring too. As orion said and he is spot on with, you need to be able to gate to have any chance of scoring decent points at the Top level and the only british rider who's any good at that is Rico.
  11. Ok in GP's Lindgren/Jonsson are far better but in the British League they're not. Neither of these four ride Vojens that often so there's advantage to anyone. I'm just trying to be Positive that's all
  12. The way I see it Lindgren/Jonsson and Harris/Nicholls are evenly matched. Richardson can/should match Judas D. And Woffman/Kennett who knows but up against Nermark/Ljung it doesn't look that bad. I'll be honest i've based this on the british league meetings i've seen these riders in and that may not be the best view but from that point of view and the fact it's on a netural track I don't see too much difference. As i said in a previous post if TeamGB want it more then i can see no reason why they can't qualify. And yeah i'll be down the New Inn tonight.
  13. As a few Swindon fans will know I'm always optimistic I'm starting too believe TeamGB can actually qualify tonight! As most know Poland aren't the greatest away from there own tracks and on paper we're just as good as Sweden, we just have to want it more than they do
  14. Anyone know if any of the riders that are riding tonight have Vojens as there hometrack?
  15. The sky programme starts at 6 (so i've been told) Christ not just beaten by 1 person but 2!!!!!!
  16. Is that to win the meeting tonight? or just too qualify?
  17. What no Gaffer I know he hasn't been riding that great at the moment but surely he hasn't been that bad?!?! I was looking forward to seeing him ride again! Thanks for the team line-ups Iris123
  18. Hungary and Russia i think If you was after the rider line-ups, i don't know them??? Would to know that myself though
  19. I'll be going to Cardiff and no doubt i'll be in the Prince of Wales before the meeting with Seb the Snail and co.
  20. Lee Richardson 2008/2009 could be a future star
