I'd put Leigh Adams in this category, especially in the GPs, it wasn't until his 30s he started to actually become a contender too win it.
2007 (I think) was year he finished 2nd overall. He would have been well into his 30s then.
Spot on
Hopefully people will now realise how important it is to have somebody who can gate with the best of them instead of someone who tries really really hard at the back!
Rico would most probably score 10 or 12 which I think that's who orion was referring too.
As orion said and he is spot on with, you need to be able to gate to have any chance of scoring decent points at the Top level and the only british rider who's any good at that is Rico.
Ok in GP's Lindgren/Jonsson are far better but in the British League they're not.
Neither of these four ride Vojens that often so there's advantage to anyone.
I'm just trying to be Positive that's all
The way I see it Lindgren/Jonsson and Harris/Nicholls are evenly matched.
Richardson can/should match Judas D.
And Woffman/Kennett who knows but up against Nermark/Ljung it doesn't look that bad.
I'll be honest i've based this on the british league meetings i've seen these riders in and that may not be the best view but from that point of view and the fact it's on a netural track I don't see too much difference.
As i said in a previous post if TeamGB want it more then i can see no reason why they can't qualify.
And yeah i'll be down the New Inn tonight.
As a few Swindon fans will know I'm always optimistic
I'm starting too believe TeamGB can actually qualify tonight!
As most know Poland aren't the greatest away from there own tracks and on paper we're just as good as Sweden, we just have to want it more than they do
