There's enough points spare to do anything they want, no reason for average to come into it.

Birmingham vs King’s Lynn, May 13th 2024

I take it the Villa v Liverpool match just down the road had nothing to do with this call off? -
If Riss has too much in his schedule, could easily drop his Spires places as they have virtually 5 points to play with for a replacement and link up with the Cheetahs instead.

Oxford Cheetahs vs Poole Pirates BSN 2nd Leg 8/5/24
Hilly replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Perry needed to take his third ride so no replacement would have been allowed, only to start from -15. -
Who realistically would/could race here?? You'd obviously take Lambert/Vaculik/Lindgren but seems unrealistic. Michelson? Thompson? Pr Pawlicki? Would be a massive missed opportunity not to use the points available.
-
The obvious change would be either Riss or Cook, depending on how they get on over the next few weeks. Assuming there is an actual rider available and willing to come in.
-
Crowd seemed to be well down on normal Cheetahs meetings. Not a fan of the way both teams have been made up, can see a few heavy defeats away from home. Some cracking racing, a tremendous tussle between Nicholls and Harris. Overall, a deserved win on aggregate I would say.
-
If you are definitely going, remember to get your ticket at least the day before to avoid an additional cost.
-
With Cook signing for the Spires, is it all just waiting for the averages to fall right and move Riss to the Cheetahs and then use the points available to sign somebody for the Spires? Would Jody Scott be ready for a number 7 berth? Would be a long tail but the team has been built poorly imo leaving little room to manoeuvre.

Only Masters and Nicholls winning races in the top 5 is unsustainable.

Belle Vue v Ipswich 22nd April
Hilly replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm only talking about the Ipswich match, not Spooner being missing. He was on the mic at the Chargers meeting talking about the Tungate situation -

That's not what Schroeck said on the mic, although after his ht14 nightmare, I'm not sure I can take anything he says as 100% factual -

Stated on the night that no facility was allowed, said the same yesterday at the Chargers home meeting. If a facility was allowed, why not just say they could not get anybody, rather than lie. -

Peter Schroeck said quite clearly while being interviewed in Sunday's Chargers meeting that Tungate attempted to get to another airport and received a speeding ticket in doing so. This should be easy enough to validate during investigation. Already stated that no guest facility was allowed for the missing rider on the night at Ipswich. -
While Janowski is obviously not the rider of old, we really need to get him scoring more. Good performances from the others will go to waste.
-
Riss for Klindt is obviously a strange one taken in isolation, surely another change is on the way.
-
Cracking meeting, plenty of close racing and passing, Ipswich just to strong in the end, fair play to them. Oxford will be looking for more from Janowski and escpecially Klindt. Tough luck on Kerr (speedy recovery) who is key to any future success, surely it will be a few extra meetings for Scott.

Flints win in ht 8 could be classed as fortunate, in the original staging when Wright came down, Boughen was well ahead. Cook was an obvious choice for heat 14.

I believe it was a meniscus tear (knee)

Hi, I'm just a long standing fan, I sent a PM via X and got the reply mentioned. Personally i can see no reason why you could not use the pass in that way. I hope you get a response quickly, there really is no excuse for poor communication, especially when they seem to be using a separate company to deal with this side of things.

Whilst it should not come down to fans doing this, I have made contact with the clubs media partner to highlight this and asked that they make contact with you asap. No club can afford to lose out on potential revenue. To be fair, they came back to me asking for more details so I hope they are now on the case.
