Must say it was a great weekend!! Contrary to other opinion though I must say thank heavens for the semi's and final, some of the heats had got boring up to then! Bring back the eliminators!

Hans had a heavy fall in heat 13 Thursday, lets hope tonight's result isn't an indication of what next week will be like!

On a serious note, Ole or somebody needs to sit them both down and try and sort there problems out before they put each other through the fence. I think THAT is the real key here. at the moment it's entertaining, but it won't stay that way if left unchecked. Mind you, we've all seen Hans offer to shake hands at least once....................

One thing seems certain......... scott seems to go quicker with Hans just in front of him!!

I'd say was 50 / 50 too, certainly could've gone either way, but from the way the ref was calling Hans was in front and Scott touched him. The other fallers weren't touched so were excluded. If it'd hadn't been Hans I'd think Scott would've been past and gone. He seemed quicker but wanted to muscle his way past.

Can he qualify automatically if he gets enough points?

Why who said he was?? I thought the comment was in reference to the refs decision?? I.E it was the World Cup Final, and hard riding and a little contact is part and parcel of it, but wouldn't be acceptable in the Conference.

Actually is that not Sky's fault? I don't think Hans would ever do it in front of an audience, or after a meeting, but in the heat of a moment, in the middle of a moment anyone can do it. In fact I'd say most riders HAVE done it.

I'm using my partners log on to reply to this as this is an issue I have been quite upset about since last night... We were in the room before & during the press conference and saw both the bottle throwing incident (unfortunately though not who threw it) & heard the abuse coming through the windows. Both of these incidents disgusted me especially what happened during the press conference, we were lining the room and a few of us were leaning against the windows & at 1 point I thought the "fans" outside were going to smash the windows, not only that but there were a number of small children in the room, a few of them the riders families, regardless of what did or didn't happen on the track no-one should be subjected to that level of abuse. I also think that the small minded few who tried to drown out the Danish national anthem by singing our's over it, blowing airhorns and booing show a complete lack of respect for both the riders and the visiting overseas fans, they need to think back to the beginning of the meeting when our national anthem played, I looked over the crowd and virtually everyone was standing and respecting our national song! It's upsetting that a brilliant night of speedway will be forever remembered as "oh that's the year someone threw a bottle at the Danes!" rather than for it's spectacular riding and close competition!!!
