  1. I think the fact is that there isn't anyone outside the top 8 any better than whats there. Top five are all over 30 too, may not go down well with those calling for young blood, but a fact!
  2. ALL of his points wasn't it? 4 third's, in 4 three rider races!
  3. On tonights showing at least Hans could be his major competitor.
  4. I think the deals right, but does it match the ambition? Was shown to be woefully short of speed at times last year by the top guys, also seemed to lose the set up when it mattered? The youngest guy to be a contender for the title though and still a good bet to be world champ one day!
  5. I take it Jawa still haven't found Hans the speed he's been badly missing then?
  6. Yeah, the Leigh Adams who'd scored 5 points from 4 rides decided he wasn't going to get involved in a battle for the lead!! Must've been a really hard descision to make!!
  7. To be honest you'd have had to hope so! Mind you, how many team days have the Danes had this year, starting with the winter Oxford dates. And Britain had??
  8. Could any British riders do any better for any manager?
  9. Think you'll fing Scott passed Hans because Hand made a desperate lunge on Gollob, second behind Gollob wasn't enough. Don't think Scott would have got near if Hans had settled for second. Quite dissapointed in Scott and Lee and especially Bomber. Never in the races. Leigh Adams struggled a lot too.
  10. Don't blame the Danish riders Steve, as I posted on another thread and Jan was quoted as above most of them prefer some dirt!! As to Olsen, well maybe! But it sounds as if it was more just the terrible weather we've been having.
  11. Exactly!! Are people REALLY saying saying that a different manager might have won it?? Untill such time as we can find 6 world class riders we'll struggle. This year must be better than the last few, but we still only have 3 / 4. Look at the Danish team for the difference. The Ipswich heat leader as reserve, and Gjedde can't even get near! Whilst we have Olly Allen, with Simon Stead and @Eddie Kennet IN the team. With full respect to eveyone I'd say that shows the difference.
  12. I'd go with Danny King, who seems in great form at the moment!
  13. On recent performances can't help feeling Danny may be the better bet!!
  14. When I went to football last year (Wolves!!?) we just had to remove the lids from any drinks bottles! A very fair compromise I thought.
  15. Not to forget Danny King! And, thinking about it, must be a case for Richard Hall, the only one of them to make it to the GP Qualifier Semi!!
  16. Don't think I'm going to be going now. Got a double room booked at the Novotel. Thursday to Saturday nights. Pretty sure I booked it at £70 per night inc breakfast. Easy walking distance from stadium!! Anybody interested PM me!
  17. Blimey..... Just what is this site coming to!! LOL
  18. But Mick isn't Hans manager! Mirror got something wrong!
  19. But why does he like it THAT slick is the question?
  20. Hancock next out the Reading door? no-one interested now IMG are running the GP's not Reading?
  21. so, which 2 are you going to seed? Denmark and.........
  22. I was just about to say I think it will be Lee R. Where you sitting, I'll bring my HA Racing cap over for you..........
  23. Can't really argue with that. In fact who, other than Scott and Chris can you really see competing anyway??
  24. So, looking at say the Denmark team, who out of for instance, Hans, Nicki, Jesper, Charlie G and Kenny Bjerre are you putting your money on Olly beatting exactly???
