Peterborough V Belle Vue El 11/10/2013
essaitch replied to TesarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Track looks good at the mo- maybe a little dry! -
isn't it all just about appearing to have a viable solution whilsat negotiating the rent on the Ricoh anyway?
-
A team manager who was adament the team was good enough and no changes needed. I expect team changes to happen now.
-
A bit premature isn't it. Still to be given a final ruling by BSPA / SCB I believe.
-
OK, makes sense then!
-
How? Premier League club takes priority?
-
Why? Nothing changes. The BSPA have made their decision.
-
And why would Swindon do that, after they happilly took Peterborough's money for him 3 years ago?
-
The same could be said for Swindon surely?
-
Think http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.1026.1 may have something to do with it?
-
A stupid statement given the Polish squad system. It wouldn't matter there as long as he was fit at some point in the season.
-
According to the rule book though they still mean something!
-
In which case I think you'd be surprised. A lot of Elite League club sponsorship would go if Sky go.
-
Speculation maybe, but doesn't all the evidence point in one direction? Who else do you suppose it might have been?
-
They may, but I'm not sure they all blame Peterborough for the situation .
-
I'm certain you'll find just about everyone who's ridden for Peterborough the last 3 years has nothing but good to say about the club set up. Why do you feel they can't look after their assets?
-
Appears to me all they are asking for is the loan rules re permission to talk, being adhered too. Don't know why you have such a problem with following the rule book? Think the Lawson issue is as much to do with the sudden appearance of the 2 from too 20 rule. Peterborough being about the only club affected by it.
-
ok, he wasn't sacked he walked out. Doesn't alter my point at all does it.
-
Think your quite a way out at 500. Probably to do with the size of the place.
-
Shock horror, a Swindon employee, sacked by Peterborough has a dig at Panthers!
-
why's that then?
-
I'm pretty sure you would when you own a saleable asset, pretty sure all the players would be on a football clubs balance sheet.
-
And would that be the manager who's been working with the Swindon promotion?
-
Am I missing something here? All he's actually said is they won't all be made to be purchases and some will be loans? Also said he wants to know Peterborough's line up to finalise the descision? Not much said at all really? I suspect Lynn will loan NKI as they've bought Schlein, and Swindon will buy Batch, who BSPA have already admitted they should never have had to buy, and Hans will go on loan. Usual sort of BSPA botched compromise! Why they can't just write a rulebook and stick to it is anyone's guess. And yes, I understand that the AM situation has probably tainted Swindons view of the loan / transfer market.

Yep, forget the rule book and do whatever you feel like is the way forward!
