  1. He makes his debut for them this weekend. Will be interesting to see how he goes.
  2. Lambert -2 over Madsen could be good value tonight, with the potential of 7 rides for Lambert over Madsen’s 5 rides. Likewise Woryna is +1 over Przedpelski
  3. I’ll settle for 2nd - risked it on the last round but wasn’t to be! Not a bad night as won £20 on Pedersen tonight too! Congrats to Terry for winning! Many thanks R and R for organising, top job as always.
  4. That was the whole reason they bought that in originally... how disappointing they’ve felt the need to change that! The only thing I think they should of changed was either bring back double points for the final or changed the scoring to 4,3,2,1 for the final so as at least to reward the rider who comes 4th for reaching the final.
  5. Have I completely missed something, how is the maximum points on offer to a rider 20 points on one night? Always used to be 7 rides x 3 points = 21 points Apologies if this has already been discussed but I couldn’t find it anywhere
  6. Have amended my previous bet, swapping Michelson less for Lambert more
  7. Time to go for broke! £1500 Lambert more £1000 Ljung less £1250 Kasprzak more (after last nights performance... but something was telling me you should never bet on KK one way or the other as he will always let you down!)
  8. It must drive Premier Sports crazy, as they are in the hands of Polish TV company and plays absolute havoc with their scheduling. I bet there isn’t another sport that disrupts and doesn’t stick to a schedule as much as speedway does. This was the single most reason Sky dropped speedway as they were fed up with the constant rain offs and overruns. I really hope Premier stick with it as it’s been great to watch every heat on our televisions this year (when the sodding rain has allowed). Onto Tuesday we go....
  9. From what I read, it says Brady will not return to Leszno this year. Interestingly Leszno have also signed Anders Rowe and has been loaned out aswell.
  10. I see that Lodz have signed Brady Kurtz on loan from Leszno
  11. Let’s see if he scores any points first or if he gets pulled out after 1 ride like earlier this season.
  12. Just seen pictures - can see Holder and Batchelor thriving in this
  13. Really hoping someone gives Lambert some back up to make a bit of a match of this, which is well possible with Holder not fully on the gas and Fricke well off form. Here’s hoping! Batchelor has his chance too so be interesting to see what he does.
  14. A last for Woryna, if he can produce another one of those in his last race and Lambert continues as he has started I could be in for a good night too
  15. That seems the logical thing from next year. By all means have GP riders as the “wildcards” but for the 1-15 should be non GP riders.
  16. Seemed very harsh that. Thought he had the line over Bellego personally.
  17. I really like the look of Lublin and they’re in a good run of form. Zagar was abit ropey in the first few weeks but he’s been quality for a number of weeks now along with Michelson and Laguta, who has been sensational. I don’t know anything about Miesac except he’s 50% out of control and 50% lunatic, seems to score score points though! I really rate Lampart and Trofimov at the bottom end too - Trofimov is always in the mix and a fast starter too. They could be spoilers come the end of the season, especially if Hampel fancies it and makes a few starts.
  18. He’s been on a push bike in all his Wroclaw meetings so far
  19. Seemed bizarre that Jack Holder isn’t representing Toruń, but there must be a logical reason.
  20. Out of interest, how were the riders for this meeting picked? I assume teams put forward the riders they wanted to represent them.
  21. An interesting article that I've only just come across, which was posted before the weekend: Swindon team manager Alun Rossiter is worried Troy Batchelor’s confidence could be hit by being left out in the cold by Polish side Rybnik. The PGE Ekstraliga newcomers have won just one of their opening meetings against basement club Gorzow and are one of the favourites for relegation. Despite the team misfiring, Batchelor has made just one appearance so far this season – taking just one ride at Grudziadz on June 23, finishing at the back, before being dropped for the rest of the meeting. Having seen Batchelor finish second in the SGB Premiership averages and form a title-winning partnership with Jason Doyle at Swindon last season, Rossiter is baffled that Rybnik won’t turn to the former FIM Speedway Grand Prix star. The club is set to operate rider replacement for the injured Andzejs Lebedevs at home to Leszno this evening rather than draft in Batchelor. The former GB boss understands Batchelor is defeating team mates in practice races, so he’s stunned he isn’t being selected to compete in the PGE Ekstraliga. He said: “He’s in Poland and having a hard time. He is beating people in practice races and saying ‘what do I need to do? Win it by a straight?’ I don’t know what’s going on there. “He has paid for 17 tyres to go out in practice and do the sparring heats. They put the tapes down and he wins the races. But he’s still not in the team. They gave him one ride, dropped him and didn’t pick him again. “For me as a Swindon manager, I’m worried I am going to get a rider back who isn’t riding and could be a bit scarred from it all. “I just don’t understand their mentality. There are a lot of good clubs, but obviously there are some very strange clubs that have a different mentality of how they go about things. “He has been absolutely fantastic. For the last two years he has been absolutely on the money for me. “This is not Troy talking. This is me talking as his manager at Swindon. I am absolutely baffled how they can treat him like this.”
  22. Jack was in it the whole meeting. Gorzow have pulled a blinder getting him in, but it’s a shame the rest of the team aren’t on it.
  23. Holder absolutely superb. What a cracking rider he is to watch.
