Anybody else touching cloth?
-
Yep 47-43 preferably for the big return. The handicap after heat 8 seems a no brainer at +2 too
-
How much are you sticking on tonight?
-
I'm no big gambler and have only been betting on Speedway this year for abit of extra interest in meeting. I've made about £200 profit so far this year which certainly isn't big time at all, but I've just lumped £50 on the same bets as you. I've also backed Masarna on +2 after Heat 8, that should be the easiest bet of the lot!
-
They're an even better price on a -2 handicap at 29/20.... and also +2 on the after heat 8 The value on the odds for rider points isn't great after last nights match. Wouldn't mind fancying if the match is all sewn up that Pedersen may bail out of the nominated races again, so another exactly and under 10 looks promising value.

Lindback is riding according to Bet365. Ludvig Lindgren confirmed as Fricke's replacement too. -
Impressive stuff - But at the same time, is it really needed? Half the number of cameras and operators instantly and reduce the costs, thus reducing the viewing price.

Polish Extraleague 2020
Najjer replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
As R&R has already said, they need two Poles and one rider under-24. There was an article within the last couple of weeks that predicted Doyle would be leaving Czestochowa and it mentioned about Torun weighing up whether to keep Chris Holder or bring back Jason Doyle was loaned out this season. Due to the new under-24 rule bought in, Torun would only be able to track two out of Jason Doyle, Chris Holder and Jack Holder. Torun have also been heavily linked with Robert Lambert (like just about everyone else I think) to fill the under-24 role and also Shamek Pawlicki for one of the Polish team positions, presumably to replace Musliek or Miedzinski. -
Seen as you’ve assumed and made a twit of yourself, for your Information - I subscribe to BT sport, A Sky package including Eurosport and separate subscription to Premier Sports too - all for speedway.

Yikes! -
I don’t tend to back anymore than 2 riders in one meeting just in case it all goes belly up and lose out big style. Should of filled my boots tonight though! Tonorrow’s odds could be interesting!
-
My only regret on tonight after turning him down on the overs, is that I should of backed Bjerre on the unders like you did!

Any ideas who is likely to replace him? -
Tarasenko
-
I never like changing my mind as it usually comes back to bite you but you’d be brave to back Bjerre, Pedersen and a few others on that track
-
Cashed out on Bjerre after seeing the state of the track. He usually doesn’t like a speedway track unless it’s a billiard table so bailing on that one. Pedersen under 10 now is where the money is at I reckon!

Get your bets on Pedersen to do poorly tonight - can’t see him liking these conditions! -

So Doyle leaves Czesztochowa - Paving the way for him to rejoin Torun I would imagine, which in turn will probably force Chris Holder out -
Surprised at Australia's picks mind - Can't believe Holder isn't in above both Fricke and Tungate.

People calling the Polish side a disgrace haven't seen any Polish speedway this year. On recent form even if every rider was available it'd be a toss up between Janowski and Wozniak to partner Zmarzlik. Wozniak finished 3rd in the Polish Championship behind the other two, in brilliant league form and completely deserves his chance in the SON. With Kubera, one of the world's best U21 riders too, theyve got every chance of winning.

I think so, but I don't know for certain. Wozniak rode for Vetlanda at no.6 earlier in the year and replaced the no.2 in the first heat of the night and took 6 rides that night, so I would assume it's allowed but don't know if there is restrictions on when or how many times. I did ask earlier in the thread for confirmation but nobody else has confirmed or denied it. -

4 plus he will get a nominated race too making 5 -
I've done the same - plus Bjerre exactly and over 10 from 6 rides (potentially 7)

Looking at Bet 365, this looks to be the confirmed line ups -
Torun GP 2nd - 3rd October

I made the point before, where scoring should be 4 3 2 1 in the semi finals, to rewards the 4th placed rider for at least making the semis. In the final then points should be doubled to be 8 6 4 2. Again, rewarding the 4th placed rider for making the final but heavily rewarding the eventual winner. Similar to a few years ago where they had double points in the final. Every points scored in every heat then counts towards your total, with a maximum of 27 points on offer at each round. I haven't bothered working it out but would be interesting to see how that would of effected this years standings.
