Whilst I agree with your first 2 paragraphs, the last one is complete nonsense. Zmarzlik could pull wonders riding round a toilet seat and would cope just fine. For those comparing Laguta and Emil, Artem has always been very much a supreme gater and then take off type rider. Even in Poland it’s not often you see him charging from the back like Emil does, so it’s no surprise to see that same trend continue over to here. Both Artem and Emil are supremely talented but there is no doubt that Artem is less suited to some of the current tracks in the Premiership. Watching Laguta round the likes of Somerset and Scunthorpe he would of been just fine, like he was at Kings Lynn, Belle Vue etc

This should be one of the first issues addressed at the annual end of season knees up
-
Not to mention he’s an Eskraliga heat leader who also has an accurate 6.50 average over here in the Premiership too. It does seem a little barmy
-
He’ll be required by Bydgoszcz

I think it was the wrong decision to exclude Lambert. Pawlicki appeared to his usual trick when room starts to run out and cause a bit of a crash so he can get a rerun. Obviously we only saw it once with no replays offered up but I thought Pawlicki lost control way after Lambert came by him. Really glad to see Wozniak make the cut as he’s been knocking on the door for a couple of years. A really hard trier and won’t be pushed about so think he could mix it well. On the other hand was a shame to see Shamek miss out to Kvech who will likely get a GP spot now too. On a side note, I think Wozniak qualifying (and my hope for Kubera to get a wildcard) could spell the end for Dudek in the GPs

You’re right, whilst he is saying idiotic things in the press he can’t win. We are supposed to believe a meeting has been cancelled for tonight on the same day that Robert Lambert has just signed. If he spoke a few more truths then he could win.

There isn’t enough Championship riders for Championship teams (hence why some of them started the year with 6 rider teams) without added teams from the Premiership
-
But that’s a joke in itself - they only made a half arsed announcement yesterday. Just get it right the first time!
-
As has been proven on a number of times, there is not enough riders for that to happen.
-
…..and this one post right here, is why British Speedway as a whole is failing and will never change. Shame really.

out of interest, is Palm Toft back riding?
-
Nail on the head well and truly hit - but because they treat everybody like absolute imbeciles, they’ll keep it secret that Laguta wasn’t supposed to be there. He hasn’t been all that arsed about a lot of matches so there is no hope in hell he’s going to be turning up in the middle of the Polish play offs. I’ve just read the Kings Lynn Facebook page and there is several people suggesting that ‘slagging’ Buster off does plenty of harm to the club. Unfortunately these comments ‘slagging’ him off are all justified but his actions and half arsed decisions taken. People aren’t just running him and Kings Lynn for cheap thrills. He’s destroying the club but still looks to blame everybody but himself. The press release on the Kings Lynn page doesn’t even quote anybody from Kings Lynn and just quotes Phil Morris FFS

And Laguta who probably can’t be bothered.

I really hope Shamek Pawlicki gets in as he’s been superb all season in Poland and Sweden and looks to be back to his best. You’d assume Vaculik and Doyle will finish in the top 3 so we are then looking at the next best to get into the GPs - quite possibly Lebedevs and I hope Wozniak, along with Pawlicki could dump Janowski and Dudek out of the GPs especially if Kubera gets his warranted wildcard too

Poole v Oxford 9/8/23 Championship
Najjer replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A brilliant post - You’ve summed up speedway in this country pretty much. -
I wouldn’t be opposed to that either - with no guests then. The Danes make that work and there is no reason why we cant
-
Doubling up in its current guise didn’t start 20 years ago though - there was many more riders back then and the situation was more than under control. The current problem has only really come to light in much more recent years completely ruining teams identities and team speedway in the UK in the process. The Poles allowed doubling up for the first time during the covid year and they absolutely hated it, thought it was a mockery and soon abolished it as a nonsense at the time. The sooner UK speedway does the same, the better.

I was aware of that but assumed it was something much more drastic than that
-
Because probably 90% of these people weren’t ever going to be attending anyway - therefore only ever creating additional income.
