With the change in regulations out in Poland, I expect Luke Becker to land a position out there somewhere. He’s been linked with several clubs already. Assuming that British Speedway sticks with their plans of starting next season with the same line ups, if Becker gets a team position out there then I would expect Somerset to be lining up a replacement for him.

Smektala would be one of the Poles and Jeppeson the U24 rider. He was in terrific form in Sweden and Poland this year, especially when he scored a 15 point maximum against Toruń. Whether he’s ready for mixing it with the big boys though is a completely different kettle of fish!

Odds are being offered up on Bet 365 for the Peter Craven Memorial meeting tonight. There is only the odds available currently 'to win' but not sure if they are adding total points and rider match ups like normal. Jason Doyle each way to win it straight away seems like good value to me though!
