  1. It’s back! First odds of the year are up for the individual meeting at Bydgoszcz this afternoon. Always a tricky one so early on in the season to predict. Each way bet on Zmarzlik to win overall seems a good shout for a return though.
  2. Yep, he rode 3 races for Czesztochowa and then 1 for Grudziadz when they didn’t have anyone else available as they only had 5 riders
  3. As expected today, Czesztochowa have hammered a depleted Grudziadz team today in a pre season sparring. Interesting to note young Bartlomiej Kowalski scoring effectively a 4 ride paid maximum for the home side (3 wins too) , including an outing for Grudziadz too. Final score after 13 heats was 52-25 (no nominated races ran)
  4. Tomasz Bajerski has said that after the sparring match with Gorzow on Thursday it’s likely that Toruń will loan out one of their senior riders - likely to be either Miedzinski or Musielak. Going to be interesting to see which one leaves and then where they end up, especially being so close to the start of the season on Saturday in both leagues. Maybe Łódź or Rybnik?
  5. Difficult decision coming up for Toruń before next week - both Holders should be back, so do they bring both of them back into the side and then there be a straight shootout where it’ll be 2 out of Przedpelski, Miedzinski and Musielak. Should find out mid week but interesting time ahead. Me personally would be leaving out Miedzinski but time will tell! In other news, there are rumours of Zengota being linked with Grudziadz as a covid guest. They won’t of been too encouraged by today’s showing if that’s the case!
  6. Going to be interesting to see what Grudziadz manage to do before the first match. Pawlicki is ruled out of that one and Jakobsen will be riding for Gniezno so can’t cover as a COVID guest either. Grudziadz lack of strength in depth is evident so they will be looking to secure a second guest in the coming week or so I expect.
  7. Rohan Tungate has joined Lublin as their COVID guest rider, seemingly choosing them over Zielona Gora
  8. This is the latest reply: Hi Aron, thanks for your email. Unfortunately, we don't have confirmation yet for the fixtures in regards to Polish Speedway. Please keep an eye on our website for further updates.
  9. After exchanging various emails with Premier (they seem pretty prompt at replying in fairness) and explaining that I’m on about Speedway and not football like they kept referring to for some reason, it seems that Polish Speedway will be solely shown on Sundays and will not feature the Friday matches as per last year. Not sure on the reasoning behind that, but that seems to be the general view..... unless anything changes.
  10. I’ve just emailed them to confirm that they are halving their coverage this season compared to last season. Be interesting to see what they respond with.
  11. Frederik Jakobsen has turned down Toruń and signed up for Grudziadz as a covid guest rider. Toruń are expecting to have all of their squad available for their first fixture assuming there is no more cases of covid before then.
  12. Thanks for that, although I expect they will be offering some better offers hopefully in the next few weeks. It’s currently £11.99 per month where you can cancel anytime, the speedway season will only run for 6 months (maybe 7) so makes it cheaper to just pay month by month if you want it solely for speedway. Let’s see what happens in the coming couple of weeks
  13. Krosno have confirmed their Polish junior line up with the signings of Aleks Rydlewski and Jakub Janik on loan from Toruń and Bartosz Curzytek on loan from Wroclaw. Curzytek is pretty wild so could shake things up abit!
  14. Even with a reduction his average would still be 8.00. I expect there will be a new 10% reduction rule added for New Zealander’s to encourage more of them to ride in Britain for this season to make him fit though, don’t panic.
  15. Wouldn’t be the first time a promotion/team has been shafted and snubbed by the BSPA (BSPL) once they have decided to go against the grain and ‘gone rogue’. Hopefully that won’t be the case this time and there can be at least one meeting at Somerset this year.
  16. Garry May has already confirmed Somerset are able and willing to run the Pairs - but depends if they are offered the chance to do so.
  17. There is a report in Poland today, saying that he is scheduled to take part in some meetings in Australia at the end of March and the start of April. He’s signed a contract in Poland for Bydgoszcz and they said in February they still expect him to come to Europe. If that’s the case, it seems a strange move for him not to have landed an English side.
  18. Also rumours of Bellego, Zengota and Lyager along with Tungate being linked to ZG as covid guest cover.
  19. What’s the story with Josh Grajczonek? Not chosen? Not returning to Britain? Or not returning to Europe full stop? Seems a strange one.
  20. Looks like it’s been confirmed elsewhere (assuming the season starts as planned - reports in the last few days seemed to imply it will start without fans) that Dominik Kubera will miss the first 3 matches of Lublin season. As posted before, Lublin refused to pay Leszno a transfer fee so he can’t be registered until the first transfer window. Could make life hard going for Lublin in those matches! Also, relevant what happens to Gorzow starting the season on time and their track.
  21. I’d be very surprised if they don’t impose the same restrictions as they did last year aswell, where they expect riders to base themselves in the country for the year. Could be wrong but just have a hunch!
  22. Presumably following Artem Laguta contracting coronavirus, Wroclaw have moved to cover themselves even more by adding Jakub Jamrog as an extra guest rider to the already recently signed Andrejs Lebedev.
