  1. That isn't a farce at all. A farce would be if Berwick were put into the event for no reason, or cheated to qualify etc. They didn't - And qualified rightly. If a team in Football qualfies for the Champions League, and then sells all of their decent players and are left with a team worse off, does that make it a farce that they are in the Champions League? No.
  2. Why on earth the Super7even site advertises it as being 6 heats then, is just plain idiotic. Both Ostergaard and Kramer missing looks to have ruled out any hope of a place on the rostrum for Reading and Somerset. Although I will still be there, hoping the Kattman and the Rebels can spring a surprise or two..
  3. Ben Barker? He's pretty much been riding as Stoke's no.1 this season with Lee Complin out injured.
  4. I was going to mention that too, as I catched on that Still though.. Still looking for that song, was very catchy. Kept mentioning the words "Kicking Back".
  5. Nicki was punching the air himself when Hampel came off. There is nothing wrong with it IMO, you are bound to be happy. You have got the result you want, this is the World Cup Final, almost as big as it gets for these riders. They are representing their country and are on the edge of one of their greatest moments of their career. Full credit to Denmark, especially to Nicki and Hans who were both superb
  6. Does anyone know the song played at the end of the SWC Final on Sky Sports? Thanks in advance.
  7. http://www.british-speedway.co.uk/extras/y...3IekVp4&p=1 Just a taster of the racing from the Pairs, breath taking stuff. What a ride from Neathy.
  8. Somerset are at Stoke on the Sunday after, so I along with others will be staying over after the Fours and then into Stoke on the way back home on Sunday
  9. No need to ask that question, from what I can see the top 8 teams qualified
  10. Correct - But it should be done as the GPs are decided in the Semis as 1st, 4th, 6th and 7th and then 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 8th. Because you got your figures wrong regarding Rye and Newcastle Tai Woffinden - 9.50 Stefan Ekberg - 7.07 Tommy Allen - 6.52 Chris Neath - 6.39 = 29.48. Therefore both Edinburgh and Reading have a higher total average than you.
  11. Somersets four is: 1/ Jason Doyle 2/ Emil Kramer 3/ Jordan Frampton 4/ Simon Walker. Full lineups are on the Somerset website if you go onto the News page
  12. James Holder lives in Ringwood which is little way outside of Poole. Shame the meeting has been cancelled as was hoping Jordan Frampton was going to be riding and possibly would of come down to watch.
  13. Just found this thread. Jason said at Somerset Friday it is going to be a Pairs event and he did mentioned some comfirmed riders but I can't remember who he said now other than Jason Doyle.
  14. There was someone filming from on top of the Ref's box!
  15. Great pictures as always IDH Yes he was. However, he didn't officially call the result. His words were "In my opinion Lemon got that, with Doyley just missing out" which is fair enough right? I don't see what was so wrong, he just said his opinion on the result and from where he was standing he probably had a better view than anyone else in the whole stadium, including the referee!
  16. The Somerset 'greensheets' and the riding order. Doyley's is wrong by almost 1.00 To be fair Kev, they booed the ref too
  17. Cardiff won't be half as good as what you saw tonight Ps. Your signature is still wrong regarding the Somerset team!
  18. Najjer's view on the meeting can be read HERE! Well done Comets
  19. I'm in Burnham about 5 minutes away from the track, and we had alot of rain overnight but since then it has brightened up and looking good at present
  20. Not going to Reading Sunday then? I most certainly am!
  21. Emil 'THE KING' Kramer to win, with Simon Walker as outside chance I fancy.
  22. Matthias did mention a longtrack meeting in his interview last Friday - But hey, give em' the night off
  23. From a Somerset's fan point of view, and a neutral's also, it's a cracking lineup. They aren't just all the big names, but from all of those that have ridden at the Oak Tree Arena they have all gone well and will provide us with some great entertainment I expect. Tai Woffinden, Emil 'The King' Kramer, Jason Doyle and Jordan Frampton in the last race should be a cracker, and decide the winner on the night I would of thought. Although I wouldn't count out Simon Walker from winning this. Be interesting to see hiw Linus Eklof (under advice of Magnus Zetterstrom) goes, alongwith Shaun Harmatiuk against Premier League opposition and also Kozza Smith who I have yet to see race but he is reaping praise from Lynn fans left right and centre Not to mention Jerran Hart and Jack Roberts who have both ridden very well this season at the Oak Tree Arena already, plus Joe Haines who has been flying with Workington this year. Tommy Allen normally also goes well here. Ben Barker was great entertainment in the Stoke meeting earlier in the year - so if all that is anything to go by, should be a great meeting
