Redcar almost have a false average, as Bagar is still on his 9.XX. The same applies to Somerset with Tomicek currently in the side.

2008 - and what a disaster of an idea that was!

Normally the highest combination average from each team's top two riders from a certain - when that point is, is anyone's guess really. From memory though, teams can usually nominate any 2 of their 3 averaged riders to compete in the event. As it stands, I fully expect Somerset to go into the event with Shane Parker and Cory Gathercole who are in sensational form around the Oak Tree at present.

That from memory, was after only 2 rides each too. As you say, havn't got one problem with this at all.

Think that sums it up pretty much. As Drew and a few others said, it was the best lineup ever at a meeting at Somerset and will probably not be anywhere the same standard when the meeting is rerun at some point this year. Tragedy really, but that's what Speedway for you.
