  1. What's Jack averaging? 6.59? Christ, that's lower than Brady got last season, let alone this, and dropped his average! We're happy with being at the right end of the table, whilst you continue to battle it out at the bottom. It's hard to argue that Plymouth are a strong team - however, they've done a good job of holding the majority of teams up in recent years
  2. You mean like Plymouth not understanding the rulebook? Not for the first time either. Anyway - let's all laugh at Peterborough - gone from being one of the title favourites in March to looking poor, and it'll only get worse from July 1st.
  3. HA!Struggling at home to Plymouth, whilst Somerset's no.1 is the main person putting up any form of resistance? Nah, Peterborough aren't major contenders at all. When Olly Allen drops from being no.1 it'll only get worse too.
  4. Sheffield and Peterborough aren't main opposition...
  5. To be honest, in this incident I can hardly blame him. Whilst I think the whole "work" scenario was a smoke screen for "I've managed to get a team position 4 hours closer to home", you can't really blame him really for that given Peterborough's situation when he signed for us. Had it been a heat leader it would be a different situation altogether but as has been said already, plenty more fish in the sea, or in this case, 3 pointers!

  7. http://www.somersetrebels.co/news.php?extend.1500 Just 3 months later than originally planned, but better late than never - Welcome to Olly.
  8. Nothing to lose - Dilger, Konopka and Greenwood seem the likely candidates, none of which can be any worse surely. There is a whole host of NL riders too.
  9. No, he's just not very good and was never going to hold or get anywhere near his starting average.
  10. Rubbish in his first, won his second by a mile and just half a second outside the track record and was then useless again....
  11. Always enjoy watching Howarth at the OTA and he's usually pretty damn good too. The rest though shouldn't cause too many problems and this should be a walk in the park for the rebels
  12. Brady Kurtz did last season too... oh no, wait... he was a 5.00, or was it a 3.00?
  13. It'll be a miracle if we get anything other than a good hiding here - although stranger things have happened and I have said previously, that we are a completely different proposition to the team we were at the start of the season.
  14. I wonder if we are waiting for Dilger to become available again...
  15. Tom Perry has gone backwards since he got dropped by us, and still can't gate at all - so has no hope of ever becoming a half decent rider. That said, again, on the flip side anybody would struggle to do worse than Compton.
  16. To be fair, a lot of us predicted he wouldn't be upto being a PL no.1 - although no one expected him to be that bad.
  17. There's no denying he's an absolute dud, but watching Compton each week has become more than painful. At least Konopka is averaging 3.00 (ish) I believe.
  18. Abit of a concern if his kit isn't any good, but he can't be any worse than Benji Compton whose averaging about 1.00 currently.
  19. I always love that arguement - "look closer to home" - would that be at Somerset who are top of the league and still unbeaten at home? No concerns here
  20. 10 metres behind going into turn 1? Lol. I find that hard to believe somehow. Edinburgh far from had it easy last year, and with Masters slumping since he's gone to number 1, Branford/Riss not cutting it in the main body and Sedgmen up and down also, it must be nearly time for the panic button to be hit at Armadale.
  21. I'm not saying we will win by any stretch of the imagination, but we are a completely different proposition to the start of the season.
  22. Was going to say, why no lambert when King could make it back?
