I haven't seen it, but already it just sounds awful. Can't be many of the sponsors happy about that either you'd have to think.

It has been - It's on the greensheet list with Kildemand in the Poole side.

Poole v Somerset & Somerset v Poole. Good Friday.
Najjer replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Indeed he has ridden at the OTA for Rye House. Sczezpaniak has also ridden there back in 2007 in a challenge match, so admittedly quite some time ago. For what it's worth he scored a shed load that night from memory. Shovlar is classic. Been telling us for months how good this Poole side is and now all of a sudden because each Somerset rider will get 4 minutes of track time tomorrow night it's going to make the scores closer - even though Kurtz, Kildemand and Grajczonek have all been riding this weekend! Not to mention we are now stronger because Lawson who scored about 12 last time is missing.... classic Shovlar. -
Poole v Somerset & Somerset v Poole. Good Friday.

Looking forward to hopefully getting down to Poole Friday morning. Big shame there is no Lawson as he scored big when we won at Poole last season. Not sure what other options are about with other teams riding too on the same day. Regardless of who wins, I just hope it's not the weather as the forecast doesn't look amazing and it's going to be cold! -
I'm sure I read somewhere before that Batchelor was hoping to gain permanent residence, much like Mark Lemon, Kevin Doolan and Davey Watt had/have. Whether that happened or not though, I don't know but that could be the difference between him and Holder.

Team news posted on the Somerset Facebook page yesterday - looks like R/R for Bates as it's a challenge match.

Nail. Hammer. Hit.

So if they can race on the track.... are they not riding on it?
-
I've heard of it being rideable but not raceable.... but never raceable but not rideable. Surely if you're racing on it, you are riding on it??
-
How can you race on it if you can't ride on it?
-
The track was raceable but not rideable... how is that possible? Genius.

Kildemand continued to replace Pedersen as a reserve and even Hancock In the latter rounds, not as a replacement in the series itself for Pedersen. All fans want is a level of consistency across the board. As I've said previously, Iversen hasn't been reassessed and has signed for Kings Lynn on 9.06. Why have people like Zagar, Woffinden and Pawlicki so called been changed to 9.00 riders? Any rider who hadn't ridden here last year should of had a weighted average to allow for the decline in standard. None of this picking and choosing whose averages changed and who doesn't.... everybody knows where they stand then.
-
The stupid thing is aswell, why is Niels K Iversen 9.06? Why hasn't he been reassessed at a lower figure of 9.00 instead of keeping his higher figure? As its turned out it probably hasn't effected Kings Lynn team building too much, but just shows a complete lack of understanding and consistency at the BSPA.

If true, classic case of UK Speedway promotors treating its paying public as absolute mugs.

Old son? You just don't get it. Chris Holder isn't in the first declaration that Poole have made for this season is what I have said. There has been a reasonable debate about averages, what should be allowed and shouldn't be allowed with reasonable arguments on both sides. Every time you just come and chime in with a load of rubbish about everyone "reading what they want to" and that is about the only substance to any of your postings.
-
Jye requires a work permit so is different to other riders you've mentioned.
-
They haven't redeclared, they have simply only "declared". On the first issue of the BSPA greensheets there is no mention of Chris Holder who technically isn't a Poole rider as of yet. The biggest issue is the ineptness of the BSPA and it's consistentcy in being totally inconsistent! Instead of picking and choosing which riders to reassess and at what point to aswell, many of us said months ago riders like Woffinden, Zagar, Pawlicki and even the Poles at Poole and anybody else who hasn't ridden here last year, should of just had a calculated percentage added to their original average. Therefore everybody knew where they stood and that was that. That was far too simple obviously....

His interview somewhat contradicts 'personal problems' too - other than the well reported visa issues.
-
Never stopped them before. FYI, Burnham has the shortest pier in the U.K. If you don't learn anything else today Starman, at least you've learnt that!
-
I love how when it suits people, because they BSPA or members within it say so then "it must be true." Rumours are Somerset have signed Tai Woffinden and Greg Hancock to ride at reserve next week.... it's alright though, because it's a cup match so averages don't matter. Have a day off Starman....
-
He hasn't explained anything... if anything, he's muddied the already filthy brown water even more that is the BSPA. I would find it staggering that other teams aren't up in arms if this move attempts to go through.
-
Even Matt Ford is agreeing that Poole have made a howler from a marketing and promotion point of view.
-
You could actually make one for very little. Just have a digital output screen (the only cost involved) big enough for the numbers to count down on, and write a simple program on a computer that is displayed on the screen. Simple as that!

Sorry - I can't make any sense of the last sentence? Just looking on amazon very quickly earlier, I found some for between $200 and $500.
