  1. Sheffield -6 ….. Take my money!
  2. If it’s any consolation, he was even worse in Sweden last night than he has been at times for Birmingham.
  3. He is referring to being back in the UK for the SON at Belle Vue. He already rides in the Polish Eskraliga, Swedish and Danish Leagues as well as the SEC.
  4. Am I being daft here, as I can’t read between the lines?
  5. The biggest question is, where is the rider replacement roulette landing to tonight??
  6. I’m the opposite to you - I’m on Brum -10 as can’t see how Kings Lynn get 40. Two guests and Kvech/Woyldo who potentially will struggle on the tighter Perry Barr circuit.
  7. If you’re planning your home meetings based on using a tac sub in heats 12 and 14, then you may aswell not bother at all.
  8. It’s a weird one, pairing your second best rider with potentially your best. It also now means Brennan’s rides are over and done with (bar heat 15) by heat 10, leaving Lampart in heat 14. Would make more sense to switch them round.
  9. This is why I think it’s better to go Klindt over Harris. He can score 8/9/10 and still prove to be a winner. I don’t expect Harris to be the tac sub when it is required personally.
  10. Klindt over Harris looks great on paper too
  11. He might know the track inside out, but he was sacked by Lynn because he wasn’t actually much good there! That is one to avoid for me. Lynn -6 for me
  12. Holder under 9 tonight
  13. It comes as no surprise to see that Tobiasz Musielak is lining up in Poland this evening for Ostrow.
  14. Wonder what exciting announcement Buster has up his sleeve? He’s sold the club? He’s got a new pit gate? The sun is out for the next 7 days so there is a chance the match might go ahead next week? Simon Lambert has been signed to replace Palm Toft? He’s the messiah after rescuing Peterborough speedway? I’m glad he didn’t announce this last night as I don’t know how I would of slept last night through the excitement.
  15. Of course, call me a cynic, but Musielak only take 3 rides had nothing to do with the fact he ran a last place and was replaced by the junior Szostak who was flying all match…. Quoted from Polish media: “The first two races were very good, in the end he won four points and two bonuses. Later, he remembered his leg injury from last season and eventually gave up his fourth condition so as not to aggravate the pain.”
  16. Birmingham -2 after heat 8 -4 after heat 15 Masters over Harris at decent odds Fricke under 11
  17. It’s results like this which show why they should still have the losing bonus point - as Kings Lynn have performed well and got absolutely nothing to show for it now.
  18. -16 for me, especially given the way Belle Vue are going at home
  19. As a permenent replacement, there is no reason why that can’t happen.
  20. You can normally move flights to another date, up to a point though, which I’m not sure what the cut off is for that.
  21. It’s not a track that would typically suit him or his riding style. He is much better suited to riding a big fast track week in week out.
  22. Fair play to Buster, he really is running Banter Speedway Club with the sole aim of pi$$ing off any of the last surviving fans that he’s still got. You have to admire his balls.
  23. It’s all well and good having a ‘strong’ reserve but isn’t much use if it only lasts for a month. At the same time, it’s not much use if the riders in the main body aren’t performing either. Oxford have already proved this. There is no guarantees that Lampart is going to score much better at reserve than he has in the main body of the side, the same as Milik. I do however, think that Milik could still do a job for somebody on the right track. Him and Birmingham was never going to be a match made in heaven. Milik for Howarth would potentially work and I’m sure he would be decent around Sheffield after a couple of matches. My fear is now he’s qualified for the SEC, he doesn’t really want British leagues. There is a chance Piotr Pawlicki follows suit too.
