Gutted as Tobi gives everything for the team and is also a team rider... would have gone with Tobi and Tai personally over Jack and personally would have gone Bomber over CH if the expected team is announced... For me both Holders are class on there day but complete individuals but Bomber Tai and Tobi get into the team ethos and look out for each other on and off the track. This comes to personal opinions though.

Am i missing something here... the Chapmans own Peterborough Speedway but dont own the track and are being asked to leave but he doesnt want to look for an alternative venue... Why cant another promoter or someone else open there own Peterborough speedway, Get a site, build a track and apply for a promoters licence if they currently dont hold one already.. Why purchase when you can compete ?? In football you have AFC Manchester etc, Macclesfield and Bury both folded but continued under a slightly different name.. Why cant we have Peterborough Clowns or maybe if they get a site in a nearby village be that name ?? Middlesborough closed but Redacr opened, Workington closed but Workington opened !!

Just looked in 2022 Zagar finished on a 7.20 average which placed him 11th in the list of riders in 2022 in the premiership !! I actually agree that Buster is right to stick to his guns and principles, Matej Zagar is also too unreliable and unpredictable (In My Opinion)

Surely you then tell Matej to do one and move on... surely his lower average than Nikki means he cant warrant paying more money... The issue is riders know Peterborough are desperate and will try to use that to hold them to ransom... would Matej Zagar seriously be a proper number one and be the answer, i cant imagine he would in my opinion, when previously rode in the UK he normally riders out of the number one spot !!

Wow wow wow... As a Sheffield fan its given me a buzz to go watch live speedway and cant wait to go watch world class riders back in the British league.. I think this now makes Ipswich title favourites especially with bonus points as this pair will nearly be untouchable I also dont care he is Russian, like others have said, he didnt want this war and put himself out of work and rule himself out of the grand prix's

Pretty much agree with this with Lewis,Tobi, Adam And Connor.. You know what you get from Kyle guts and determination... For me Holder is a NO.. Been awol far too often especially away meetings summed up with a 2022 average of 9.33 Home and 6.34 away.. you need your number one to be getting big scores and leading by example away from home, thats when matchwinners earn there corn.

So Sheffield have had 30 weeks from the 7th April until the 27th October, could run Mon/Thurs so potentially 60 days to run 21 meetings inc all cup, league, play offs, cup final and Pairs yet have run out of dates and riding meetings elsewhere ?? this includes a league match after the semi final and final of the play offs have taken place... is there any wonder speedway is on its arse and folks stop going !!

I have been a regular at owlerton for 20 years since the closure of Long Eaton but the last few years the racing (or lack of it) has deteriorated so much i didn't even bother last night... I got slaughtered earlier in the season as apparently a pass coming off bend 1 in the first corner is classed as exciting !! most races yesterday the camera with a wide angle only managed 2 riders in shot.. this has been the norm at owlerton... My hope is now Leicester are going Premiership the racing has improved there and maybe i can find a race track to watch racing.. If only i lived closer to Belle Vue !!

I think the lack of comments sums this fixture up and what an absolutely awful meeting it was... Sheffield must now be the worst track in the UK... slick, Dusty and no passing, complete borefest , been going 22 years since we lost Long Eaton and this was only my 3rd meeting this season and maybe my last. Money is tight and to watch 4 bikes riding behind each other for 3 3/4 laps after the first bend is not the speedway i used to watch.

Thats fine.. just happy to still be in.. I panicked when I realised at 5.55 it was gp weekend
