  1. Very very impressed !! On a bitterly cold night attendance was very good and after last night people will hopefully be coming back for more As everyone has said Facu was impressive using inside and outside for passes, Hopefully he wont be a one track pony as he will certainly encounter some tricky tracks were passing is difficult so will also need to gate. Knight looked capable proven especially when he crashed, having collected a back wheel, looked to be heading to the corporate boxes but had the ability to rescue it and pretty much save it from being a career ending crash.. Koppe improved but unsure if he will improve enough to warrant a 5 average (time will tell) It was certainly 100 times better than last year, fingers crossed it continues and also we can get the riders picking up points on our travels.. Ps was it Joel in the Peterborough leathers on Richard Halls bike ??

  5. http://m.thestar.co.uk/sport/speedway/speedway-american-wells-could-end-up-back-on-track-1-5210689 This signing I would be happy with, showed great improvement at home but was very consistent away, if we could just manage to get out of the Hall deal and go for someone like Taylor Poole who is young and has aspirations to improve and ride at elite and world level, he had a bad injury last season and maybe came back to soon a little like Joe and Adam Roynon but they both proved themselves last season..
  6. In the last xx number of years when have Sheffield ever made changes to the starting 7 barring injury.. That also concerns me I like loyalty but if 2013 starts poorly we stuck with it..
  7. Well the signing of Hall does it for me.. I missed 50% of meetings last year which was more than I missed in the previous 12 years .. I really think this could be the end of Sheffield .. Some teams already have strengthened and they were top end of table last season.. I think we are weaker and will go backwards and win the wooded spoon by a comfortable margin .. We might win the odd home meeting but will certainly be very lucky to pick up more than half a dozen away points and will get some major embarrassing hammerings.. I think Mr Machin should take a good luck at were it all went wrong.. The addition of his Co Promoter I don't think it now matters what day they run as I have lost all interest with the potential re/signing of Hall
  8. This is different.. Possibly 2 outright number 1s totally different idea but could work.. 2 experienced World Cup / Grand Prix riders packed with youth up and coming riders : Lukas Dryml 9.14 Ales Dryml 7.32 Ricky Wells 6.47 Taylor Poole or Richie Worral 5.99/5.71 Joe Haines. 5.04 Damien Koppe 5.00 Joe Jacobs/Simon Nielsen 3.00
  9. Entertainment at Home dreadful away, Most points for a win is away points.. The Premier league is mostly won on how teams fare away from home, we cant carry one track ponies any longer
  10. I think Sunday would be ridiculous as people have family commitments, sporting activities etc, whereas a Thursday night is easier to swing .. I totally agree about the idea of a survey .. Ask the people who matter.. The supporters.. Like others before it was not the day that stopped people attending it was the ridiculous increase in prices especially kids and the shocking team that was constructed.. Leave on a Thursday and build a strong team with a out and out number 1 reduce the prices slightly and watch the crowds return on a Thursday... If its a Sunday 2 more deffo not coming I would gladly drive Richard hall to Workington to sign his contract if it meant he was not signing for Sheffield
  11. Couldnt agree more about Richard Hall... If he is announced i have said i am not going... Good start with Joe.. Does anyone know what average Steady would come in on ?? Would like to Think it will be something like Steady, Pepe (If they can sort his foreign commitments out) Ricky Wells, Adam Roynon,,Joe Haines & Tom Perry Or Joe Jacobs The above without steady and without any british reduction(not sure if this still applies) and using Tom Perry's average is 29.09 so gives us 13.44 to play with for Steady and last rider
