Looks also like a limited amount if speedway in June as we have a blank Thursday then for some inspired reason they want to compete with a England World Cup game.. Hmmm a good decision that sounds after a blank Thursday.. Looks like my next meeting will be Peterborough away then we back to berwick and scunthorpe again !!

I agree totally that proctor must be out of the meeting.. He would had needed to know to prepare bikes and leave for track fairly soon.. If there is no confirmation before 5.30 I will make the decision not to bother..

My thoughts, If anyone has video footage please send it to Scunthorpe police !! If Richard Hall is a big enough man to kick someone whilst lay on the ground then he should suffer the whole consequences of not just a disciplinary action from his employees. I know if i did the same thing at work or out in the street what actions would be coming my way. It will be interesting to hear Richard Halls comments..

Totally Agree, I think the new promotion have made a really positive start good team/manager, better PR only to be spoilt by the finance team who cant work a calculator and understand season tickets are usually there to encourage long term support and also benefit the customer with a discount. I will hopefully be there for the Newcastle meeting and be a regular attendee ,

Joe Screen is a definete either team manager or rider.. It makes interesting reading that he was today trying to buy forks for a bike !! So its Stead,Roynon,Screen,palm toft, Compton and Koppe and another new rider at just under 5 points if my sums are correct

That about sums season up could only get 10 riders for 3 heats for rider of night and eventually Sheffield only have 1 rider in final ..

And i stood by my word... just thought they might have got 2 full teams with a few exciting riders to try and tempt a few extra.. that failed.. We did come to the PLRC Sunday and talking to the people who have kept going said it had been awful and we made the correct decision to save the £100 a month Hopefully something new and fresh next season as i miss good competitive speedway

A 13 heat challenge and we still cant be bothered to track 7 riders and also a sub 8 average for replacement steady. If the stadium is empty they get there reward for doing things on the cheap

Good point... What is for sale... ?? the stadium is rented, is there any current riders as assets but when Hull closed the assets stayed with the owner ? I wouldnt imagine you can purchase the promotion as you would have to obtain licences etc from the BSPA ??

I disagree about signing riders for me it shows disregard and a lack of respect to the supporters.. Why should we pay money to see a made up team of riders who don't really care whether the team wins or loses as long as they get there start money and a couple of points.. The whole team has been a problem all season.. We are currently tracking a team on 2013 GSA of 36.76 inc Andre on 3.56.. Hardly inspiring.. I stated a few weeks ago if the promotors couldn't be bothered then I wouldn't.. It doesn't wash with me that they couldn't find a rider.. For me that translates there is no one out there willing to ride for nothing.. Plymouth last week replaced a rider , bad luck strikes and out for season.. What happens they have a replacement by Tuesday.. I've been unfortunate to lose my local track at long eaton and for 14 years we have travelled to Sheffield but no more stupid treks leaving work no tea and straight up the m1 for us.. Sheffield has a bad apple and until the bad apple is removed Sheffield speedway will keep rotting until it joins Long Eaton in the forgotton pile..
