  1. Maybe Robert Lambert or Fast Freddie might want a 28 day short term deal to get race fit prior to the GP's and other leagues starting fully..
  2. Might have sold well but still currently tickets available for both days 1516 Friday and 579 Saturday... Thats still 2079 unsold tickets.. All these people who said it will sell out and people will pay over the odds for tickets seem to have been deluded.. 3600 east stand - £79 = £284,400 1900 grandstand - £215 - £408,500 1200 south stand - £69 = £82,800 Ticket sales = Sold out full paying = £775,700 Unsold - Friday 1516 Saturday 579 £164,421 unsold in ticket sales currently
  3. How do you work out £90 for a GP is not excessive... Its an event that lasts 23 minutes at best, rest is stood around bored watching tractors and if your lucky you get to pee in a portacabin... I cant think of any other major event you get less value for money
  4. Surely the staging costs are minimal compared with Cardiff... The cost to hire a 60k stadium for a week, plus the cost of equipment hire, shale and manpower to build a track is way more than a temporary stand for 2 nights.
  5. Might be a rumour but based on SON i dont think they will be far out... Im with Noodles, not many can afford/justify those prices.. B/V charge £25/£30 for league matches... How can anyone think a GP is worth 4 time more ??
  6. Thats per person, Multiply that x4... what with a £200 hotel, food and drinks we looking at a grand for a maximum of 60 minutes speedway... Not really a cost for family weekend in my opinion. possibly based on prices and availabilty might have to abandon the friday and do saturday there and back in the day..
  7. If its £80 per ticket i guarantee it wont be , your not getting 9000 people spending in the region of £300 a head
  8. My season Ticket at Forest works out at £36.84 per game in the 2nd highest category, Away tickets capped at £30... Loads of England tickets available for the Mens senior internationals at under £40 , if your prepared to sit in family section a family of 4 can go for £100
  9. If thats the case that will be 4 of us not going !! We used to have very good seats at cardiff for £40.. not sure tbh how they would justify those prices for 25 minutes racing.. Football gets slaughtered for pricing but i watch premier league football and England for under £40 a ticket
  10. They don't deserve the event to be supported... never known a world final so poorly managed. Event moved from Cardiff after it was announced and customers had made travel arrangements , now a new day/venue added and no ticket information so again customers cannot make plans / book hotels.. We moaning in the UK, what about customers from abroad who love the GP's and follow there riders all over the world, flights to sort etc. I personally have a hotel room booked which cost £200 for 1 night and have no idea if i will get tickets. Would be nice if they just announced prices as if its stupidly priced i could just abandon the idea.
  11. A lot seems to be heavily reliant here on Magic.. If he turns up in April all guns firing then yep brilliant but if he has tinkered with bikes and engines in the winter and the damp cold wet nights in the 1st few months and you get a pre may last year Magic your bang in trouble i would say.. He started on an assessed 8, By the end of May he was on 5.28, by the end of July 6.04 and finished the season on 7.02..
  12. If i was to hazard a guess wont it look something like : Kurtz, Bewley, Lidsey, Z Cook or Rew, Blodorn, Vuolas, Mulford
  13. I do think sheffield will struggle as the maximum they can hope for each meeting is the top 4 all score maximums and thats only 49 points.. obviously they not all going to go unbeaten so a minor blip they drop a point each its 45 points... well averages say they will score 35 points... not sure were they will get enough points from the bottom 3 to win enough meetings and bonus points
  14. Unless he now has a long term deal , Oxford , Birmingham and B/V still to announce lower end of teams
  15. They might have only offered Dan a short term deal and got young Cairns signed from June on his 16th birthday.. there could possibly only be 4 league meetings to worry about if they don't start till April and add in the KO Cup 🤔
