To be fair guys and galls I did give credit to the Ipswich website in my original post. And yes it's not a pic of the track today. I just wanted to refocus us all what is to come. The play-off final 2nd leg. We're going to decide the League's best tomorrow (and Poole are going home unhappy). Let's lighten up and hopefully get past the weather and enjoy a fair and hard-fought match between two top sides (yes, even Poole).

Someone did say, let's get a random number generator, adjust for the teams and riders in alphabetical order and take into account league position (not counting the play-offs of course). Then the ref said, "where's the cardboard box?"

Very good. But I've heard they are going to call it "Au Revoir to Armadale" just to cover all the bases.

They'd have said he was guesting for Wolverhampton.

Especially as it was originally called the Summer Trophy was it not? -
I am a little more optimistic about who might ride here next year. I follow your logic, but given that Max Fricke surely has similar ambitions, why would you think he'll come back?

Ah but. You heard it here first (well sort of)...... Edit: All joking aside, Congratulations to the Edinburgh promotion on securing another year at Armadale. And a sincere hope that the future of speedway in Edinburgh can be secured going forward.

Mildenhall v Leicester Double Header. Sunday 23rd October.

1 ride at Belle Vue or ride at no.1 for Mildenhall, get 10 rides and help your club in two major trophy meetings. A no brainer real, eh? -

I think they are charging a tenner to get in then it's a £1 collection for each heat after the first meeting is done. Could be a bargain. -
There have been several rain affected meetings at Leicester this year that have been completed quite successfully. But let's get serious. Planning to run the play off finals at this time of year is madness. Not only is the weather generally wetter, the air temperature is a lot lower meaning tracks don't dry out. Have you noticed that "certain riders" become available to be signed this late in the year? Why? Well their "main" (foreign) club's playoffs have been completed. When are we going to stop this madness?

Or having a team he said he'd never support again if they dropped into the 2nd division.
-
I knew from an official source at 14:30. Not good that they were still selling tickets 2 hours later. Surely there's a very good chance that even if this round of the pairs takes place, it won't be at Leicester.

They'd have withdrawn because it's Autumn now. -
To be completely correct (given thet there is another meeting schedule there next Friday) this meeting should be titled: The Last But One Farewell to Armadale (unless we sneak another year here) Scottish Open Championship @ Edinburgh But everyone would have to buy new programme boards to fit the programme if they printed that as the title. Edit: Just spotted this post. Things start to make sense

Awful news, especially one so young. Our love goes out to Phil and his family at this most difficult time.

Sorry to say, but he was very hard on one occasion and downright dangerous on another. Jack Smith was justified in being very upset in their clash although it appeared that Lee was the most vocal after the race which confused us slightly. Oh well, no one was hurt, so that's alright. Well no it isn't. Fencing a chasing rider who has a run on you can lead to the worst kind of accident.
