Do you have inside info that he was unhappy at Coventry ?
-
If there is one thing that you can accuse CVS and Adams of, that is being too loyal in the past, not making changes! Peter Karlsson is an all time legend and is in my all time top 7 (fan since 1967) and I have huge respect for the rider and the man. However for next season the choice of Thorsell/Masters or Karlsson is for me 50/50 and not clear cut, I can see both sides of the argument.
-
And not forgetting agents Pedersen, Watt et al.
-
He'll probably be our number 2 when Freddie gets back to normal. I am not one for accepting hyperbole, but the management last night did really seem to be promising a good team, evidenced by the fact of not having the usual guard back,so we will see what Klymakorpi's 'responsibility' is when the full team is announced.
-
Kylamakorpi, however, is a multi world longtrack champion!
-
Why would Masters be a concern ? He rode well in the Olympique and put in a good performance in the Aussie GP

In isolation, i.e. without the rest of the side, I think this is a good signing. He scored 16 (from 6) last year riding for Lakeside. He was impressive and looked comfortable on the circuit. Obviously I don't expect that on a week to week basis. A lot of sides look weak at the moment, so perhaps the league will a bit more level this year. I await the final two riders with interest. And SCB, I should wait to see who the Bees have before you laugh too much.
-
The point being made was applicable to Wolves only, as no else is planning to run fortnightly. In general though it is seems the Elite League is having less and less relevance to world class riders. Rather than banning GP riders, they are ruling themselves out !

Last home EL matches in 2015 were on 7th September, a double header against Belle Vue and Leicester. So I'm correcting you as you're wrong.
-
No, but obviously we still had consecutive Monday meetings, now that option is no longer available to us.
-
I first went to Monmore Green at the back end of 1967, and as a Wolves fan, have been used to weekly meetings, be it Friday or Monday, since then. For me, I am disgusted with the move and have no wish to share our race night. As has already been pointed out, a rain off would mean a month between meetings. In accommodating Cradley CVS is risking the Wolves fan base. As he is involved with the 'Cradley' promotion he is thinking with his pocket and not his head. A disaster in the making and CVS will only have himself to blame. Fans might well find something else regular to do on a Monday night. There also seems to be a very strong correlation between the time that Cradley have been at Wolves and the lack of sucess Wolves have had. Eye off the ball syndrome ? Reverse the situation and imagine Wolves racing alternate Saturdays at Dudley Wood, would that have been allowed to happen ? Never in a milion years! Perhaps the Spoons should be renamed the Cradley Cuckoos.

I think it's time for PK to take a well earned rest.................................................
-
The last time I missed this on e-bay it went for over £150
-
Me too, got all the other one-off finals from 1936. So if anyone wants to sell...........................
-
If the Fleetwood one is against Wolves, I'll double your money.
-
On E-bay yesterday the 1936 World Final Programme sold for £305, 1937 sold for £112. I would think that the 1936 programme is the most valuable one world wide. The only one that I imagine could possibly beat it is 1928 High Beech, that is if there was a programme and that any still exist. Comments ?

It was actually 6.50 for Tobiasz, but it was still a hell of a gamble on that figure, which didn't come off.

Rules are rules, but having track specialist Harris instead of Morris, really does feel like a kick in the teeth. -
There's gratitude for you, after we beat Poole as requested last week. I've done my bit for continuation, I bought a season ticket. Now I have go every week!
-
Please God, can you end this season as soon as possible ?

Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 22/7/15

Piece of cake for the Pirates. Revenge will be extracted swiftly and without mercy. As has been said elsewhere most meetings are now meaningless for us as we are simply battling for 7th spot. -

I'd prefer the 'spoon' in neither! -

Me included. Best part of Mondays now is having a drink with friends afterwards.
