So, you've never heard of a mature student ? I went back into part time study (evenings only, whilst working) aged 27.

Wolves - Swindon 4/4/16 Rained Off
Beowulf replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That might well be a different occasion. My friends and I have always referred to the 'dark-off'.I remember wandering round the back of the home grandstand in the dark! -

Bad luck and all that. Myself, from Wolves I have been to Exeter and Canterbury for rain-off's. At Bradford we had a 'dark-off' when the floodlights failed! -

I haven't been happy with track sharing from the minute it was announced. -

I am about 2 miles from track, working in city centre. We had heavy showers at lunchtime, but nothing since. There was standing water in the roads at that point, but has now dried up and gone. It is a little overcast, but if it stays like this, everything should be okay. Wolves web-site not saying anything about problems. -

On the other hand doesn't the speedway star poll of polls put you in the play off positions? -

Quite surprised you say that i.e. at reserve Howarth would score more away than Thorsell. Have to disagree, Thorsell is a slow burner but has improved season on season. You are entitled to your opinion, of course. -

I don't think you quite wrote what you meant, if Thorsell drops down we'll have an even stronger reserve (but a weaker rider in the 1-5). As to the match, well it's a first home match with virtually a new team, so some riders might take time to get dialled in to the track. However, I am really heartened by the win at Coventry, so I will say a home win but not sure by how many. -
Haven't you got anything better to do ? I suspect neither Bees or Wolves fans require any comment from you.

As a speedway fan since 1967, I fervently hope that isn't the case I'm sure the Brandon 12 had bloody good time.

Peter Collins couldn't gate but he was still world champion, and perhaps should have won at least 1 more title.

The more relevant question to ask would be at 10.30 on Thursday night.

Swindon Robin's V Coventry Bees 31st March

His understanding and use of the English language is below that of people who have been in the country less than 6 months.............................................. -
I don't think anyone is going to get carried away, after one fixture. Just time to enjoy the result, it is a local derby after all !

Come on ye Wolves !

This will be the Bees 7th match ( 8 if you include the Harris testimonial) and Wolves 1st. This extra track time should carry the Bees over the line for the win.

I think on Spoons Monday I would prefer to be in the pub with my mates. When Cradley were open I only went for Wolves fixtures and no other, ever, and I 've been a Wolves fan since 1967! I never gave the Spoons an extra penny of my money then, and I won't now.

CVS said at the talk-in that it all depended on the Polish fixtures, if they were riding on the bank holiday Monday, then Wolves would ride on the Tuesday. No Polish fixtures and it would have been the other way round Wolves Monday, Spoons Tuesday.

Having said the E&S is still the largest regional newspaper in the country. I subscribe to it, but it is annoying receiving it at a lunchtime on a Saturday.

In the same interview Adams confirmed that Freddie will start the season at number 4. I expect him to return to the number 1 position fairly quickly.

It was definitely deliberate, I was there and saw it. However, it was well known tha Grahame was dirty on a weekly basis and would take riders to the fence on bend 1 of the race from the tapes. A friend and I used to discuss this and we thought that if he tried this on Alan Wilkinson he would come out the worst. So we we went to the Birmingham v Belle Vue match. Lo and behold Wilkinson wasn't involved because Grahame did it to Morton first who chased after him and took full retribution. I have to admit bias in my views, as a Wolves fan, Grahame was enemy number 1.

Well in those 53 years you haven't being paying much attention have you.

There are fans of other teams who also can't wait for the answer.
