As I've said elsewhere, we've won the play-offs having finished 2nd and 3rd, so we still need to do it finishing 1st and 4th !
-
Superb result (sorry Lions fans). Two full maximums and 1 paid maximum away from home, as a long term Wolves fans, I cannot remember the last time that happened. Still a long way to go, but we should finish in the top 4, which is hurdle number one. Worry about other stuff after that.

I'm sorry, but only Poole are allowed to be favourites every season, it's in the rule book !
-
The fact that Peter Adams is his landlord, may have lead to some extra pressure being applied! Still good on him though.

Sign the barge up, its probably faster than Kasprzak ! -
What do you think of changing Garrity for Gomolski ?

Well this a strange fixture with Leicester riding on an unusual home night and Wolves riding away instead of at home. I would hope the Leicester fans appreciate what the Wolves management have done by agreeing to move the fixture, so that both sides are at full strength. Now if the Leicester riders can be agreeable and have an off night so that Wolves can win........................................................ Overall Leicester are not as bad as the pundits suggested at the beginning of the season. Wolves away, now hard to judge, since we made the team changes as we have only had one fixture, at Somerset, where we rode with 4 regular team members and three guests. As we are in form, I would expect a point, but hope for more. Lead the way Freddie as you did in Warsaw !

I'll grant you that. You just never know what's going to happen next when he's on track.

My description for him, to paraphrase the John Lewis adverts, "never knowingly under control'

Which is where he should have been all along..................................... -
Wins like this are okay on the occasional basis, but not regularly. There's also the average factor, we don't want them sky high !

My point, which you missed, was that someone said Bjerre was the best rider on current form, which I disagree with and think that Lindgren is. -

What about Lindgren ? -
Well, with the Wolves having won at Somerset on Friday you would expect a comfortable home win. However at the back of the mind is the win at Belle Vue by the rebels. On the Wolves website Peter Adams is quoted as saying "One thing is for sure, we won't be underestimating Somerset'. Having said all that the Wolves top 5 are riding very well, and Freddie is unbeaten in the last 3 home matches. So, something like 51-39. This is the first time in the top flight that this fixture has taken place, so welcome to any Rebels fans, you'll find it very different to the OTA ! (but different in a good way)

The rules do not allow 'anything'. The guest riders have to be of a 'lower quality/standard' as determined by averages. Are you saying that averages are meaningless ? If so what system are you are proposing should replace averages ? I don't like new polymer money, give me paper every time. -

Careful there, Steve. We have had more home matches than away. However, unbeaten at home and 1 away win equals ( in old money) +2 which is the same as Belle Vue ( 2 away wins and 1 home defeat) -
