  1. This could be difficult. The Stars reserves, Posing and Auty should easily have the beating of Perks and Greaves. R/R is a problem because one of those rides has to be Schlein and one has to be a reserve. Schlein's form was superb when he first joined us, but had dropped off alarmingly since e.g. Saturday guesting for Leicester he only beat an opponent once in four rides. I will take a win by 2 points now.
  2. History shows you what happened in the past, not what is going to happen in the future, and I'm talking about sport here not geopolitics.Your last ever league title may have already been and gone.
  3. For the moment I presume it's because teams were declared before Masters injury ? I agree r/r at no 2 might be a better option.
  4. Shovlar, Starman, Gater1, Arthur Fry, your boys TOOk A HELL OF A BEATING.😂
  5. Agree with Gavan's post abut the good ones and will include you in too, Sugarray. It's the few that give the majority a bad name. Thing is, I have a speedway friend in Wolverhampton who lives in Wimbourne Road ! Hence the slip.
  6. Ohh I do apologise, I'm sorry the extra U has ruined your day.
  7. Once Ford departs, which appears to be happening sooner than later, then you will return to being an unimportant club somewhere in the south, of no relevance or interest to anyone.
  8. Nobody has 'slagged him off'. He is in essence a number 7 filling in for a number 6. If he can ride Rye House he should be able to ride Monmore. However, that hasn't happened, just the way it goes sometimes. Just like KK not being able to ride, well any track in the UK to be honest. However if gets double figures at Poole everyone will be laughing their socks off................including me.
  9. And I suppose you have spoken to Perks to confirm that he not been made welcome ? Nonsense as usual.
  10. Arrogant b******t as usual. No wonder Poole fans are hated. Shame as there are some sensible and knowledgeable Poole fans. You're not part of that group though.
  11. Disappointing not to get the win, which going on the scores I think we would have got with Masters riding. However, if that puts Poole's play-off place in doubt, I can live with that.
  12. Hoping for a point, R/R is unpredictable, if 1 of your top 5 riders is off form then you are in the doodoo.
  13. Ah past performance is no indicator of future performance.
  14. And what if there is an imbalance between the number of meetings ridden home and away? By the way my day job is an accountant.😀
  15. How are you calculating these figures ? If for example for Wolves they include Mark Riss, well we don't have him as he is injured, and with all due respect Ellis Perks has been no adequate replacement, although to be fair his effort cannot be faulted.
  16. None taken, just looking at league tables and current form. Can't see anyone stoping Swindon. Belle Vue and Wolves have injury concerns and Poole are well........ Just poor.
  17. 1. I don't gamble, it's a stupid thing to do. 2. How do you see the play-offs going ?
  18. Exactly what is your point, do you have one ?
  19. Irrelevant, Poole won't be meeting Wolves in the play-offs, Swindon will top the league choose Poole and eliminate them. Then Belle Vue v Wolves which the Aces will win leaving a Swindon v Belle Vue final which the Robins will win.
  20. I have to say that I probably disagree with 90% of your posts, but I cannot fault your support for your team. From Poole every away match is a jaunt. We are really lucky in the Midlands, everywhere is accessible. Out curiousity what route do you take from Poole to Monmore ?
  21. Shoes how much you know about speedway history. Not a patch on Belle Vue, Wembley, Wimbledon etc.
