The strong top 4 didn't do us much good at Kings Lynn !
-
Embarrasing performance from the Wolves. No excuses, both sides without their no 1and the Stars have made light of their missing rider.
-
Don't know what Jorgensen's current form is, but having him at reserve would appear to be a big advantage.

Peterborough v Wolves - Mon 11th July
Beowulf replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
One thing you can guarantee tonight is a hatful of points from Harris, he always scores loads against us. He is a thorn in our side, although other Wolves fans may mention a different part of the anatomy ! -
Thanks for that. I won't be selling mine anytime soon, I will leave that to the kids to do when I'm gone. That includes every world final programme from 1936 onwards.
-
I presume you sold your collection in one go. May I ask how ?

Wolverhampton v Ipswich 04 July
Beowulf replied to Roger Jacobs's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I've made no excuses, just pointed out his riding position was different in the 2 matches. From updates, Ipswich had the match wrapped by heat 14, so seems to be a deserved win. -

Difference being though he rode at reserve then and not in the team. -

Unfortunately I was there that night and remember it clearly.

Having Riss at reserve could prove very useful for the Witches. -

Viewing only on 1 side if the stadium , terracing which runs from 4th bend to 1st bend. Burger van and ice cream van outside. Downstairs bar, which has limited seating, so if you need a seat get there early. Has a fast food area, chips, coffee etc. Upstairs there is a restaurant which I imagine would be bookings only. Parking recommended in the stadium car park which is free. Avoid parking in surrounding side streets, industrial area. Stadium is next to East Park, so have stroll in there if that's your thing. -
Completely and utterley the point.

Won over 2 legs ? You're living in the past with regard to the bonus point, which doesn't exist anymore. Here's a further update, there is no such thing as a draw either now. Will agree though, there was very little passing, which is why Fricke got his high score early on as he was gating. Tailed off when he didn't.On the positive side, I enjoyed watching him, with an exciting style. A credit to the Aces, which Zagar wasn't. For the Wolves poor performances from Douglas and Morris, with Becker not being top notch either. Everytime I have seen Brennan I have been reasonably impressed , so why is he still at reserve?
-
What has he done ?

There's a metro stop at Priestfield which is about 10 minutes walk from Monmore (towards Bilston). I think it has free parking. Might be a better bet than parking aound the stadium which is an industrial area. If want to catch the bus its no. 79. Don't know what you plan to do in town, but if you have time pop into the art gallery, nice building with a cafe. Worth a visit.
-
Why not just park in town and get back to Monmore between 6:00 to 6:30 ?

I wasn't there, so cannot disagree with you, but listening to Radio WM, it seemed mainly from the gate, with not much passing. -

Of course you knew ahead of time that Morris was going to get injured and withdrawn. -

Wolve continue to be spospored by Parrys. The longest running sponsorship of all clubs. Dave Parry is of course is a ex Wolves rider and team manager. -

Yes I think so. Aces 49-41. Very good top 4 now at the NSS. Zagar, as expected, has made a big difference. -
