You beat me to it, I thought you could only use it if you have been injured by another rider not from just pulling out of the meeting, altho I do stand to be corrected.

Have u ever thought he didn't want to test his injury out in an important league meeting and leaving us completely knackered if he had to withdraw from the meeting after one race and as such leaving only very poor reserves taking his rides rather than main body riders which could be used if we used RR....end of the day if he pulls out tomorrow he's only letting himself down and no-one else, plus if he had ridden tonight and pulled out ppl like you would have criticised him for trying to ride.

So I take it with your George must go comments, you no longer want speedway on Tyneside, George has openly admitted if there was a better option as team manager he'd gladly step aside and concentrate on running the club, bottom line there isn't end of!!!! I'm pretty sure you weren't slagging him off when we were winning the league and cups not so many years ago, altho come to think about it you and certain others probably were, if you can do better go and have a chat with him, and as for terrace grumblers comments about Steve Worrall ffs get a life will you.

I've been going to Brough Park for 40 odd years and it's always been a better track when it's had a good amount of rain on it,the water that's put on it during a Sunday doesn't really do a great deal for the racing.

Wether ppl like it or not all Somerset have done is qualified to be one of the six teams to fight it out for the league title. Like scarra says we were far and away the best team but ended up not winning the league a couple of seasons ago. It may not be fair but that's the rules end of!!

It's plain to see the lad is struggling but my argument is winning away in speedway is the hardest thing to do and I don't think it's the time to single out riders I'd rather concentrate on the positives, end of the day we have, on their day, a superb top six who are a match for anyone in this league.
