  1. I'd go with Louis. Not sure about the others. Maybe it would be good to test Kennett out on our own soil and then we don't necessarily need to take him to Poland.
  2. Jeez these Crump fans give you a headache! They get so tetchy! Personally the first time I watched a Speedway GP my faves (apart from Brits of course) were Rickardson and Gollob. Still are. Also, being a beginner to speedway at the time (4 years ago) I didn't know he was a world champion - I just thought he seemed nice and he rode brilliantly and that's it. Crump fans are just jealous! (On another note the first gp i watched I disliked Carl Stonehewer from the start haha!)
  3. I heard an overwhelming amount of booing for Rickardson too! Then again, I was laughing at Crump the entire evening so maybe I heard wrong! EDITED: Sorry, not the entire evening because he only featured in half of it!!!!
  4. Awesome GP. I took three new people with me this year (two who had never even seen a speedway meeting before) - and it was a great success. They loved the banter, the controversy, the crashes, the superb riding of Rickardson, and they found the program easy to fill in (it's foolproof even for speedway newcomers), they loved the fireworks and the general atmosphere and they loved cheering on the Brits! I feel smug that I brought them and have converted them (I hope!) to speedway - and the GP itself wasn't even my doing! haha
  5. "He has grown up quite a lot." Dunno who said that about Crump but, before last night, I would have agreed. Last year he had the most mature attitude I've seen from him. He took things on the chin, he was confident about his ability without blaming others, and he cut down on the temper tantrums . . . and, funnily enough, he actually became World Champion as his ability deserved! However, from this GP (and I know it's only one) he seems to have reverted back to type. And he will not be World Champion with an attitude like that.
  6. Tony Rickardson is pure class. His final ride was awesome and it was edge of the seat stuff. I think Crump's first exclusion was harsh but the other two were deserved - and I dislike the guy anyway. I'm putting money on Hampel being a future World Champion for definate! I also like the new layout for the GPs. So many times Crump has come third or fourth when it doesn't matter so much and then pulled it out in an elimination heat, when it matters, to come first by a massive margin! This way he can't be lazy throughout the first part of the meeting. He has to score points. I think he hates the fact he has to perform from the off and can't cruise a couple of heats to get used to the track. Wish Scotty made the final. Pity he spun the bike!
  7. I hope either Rickardson or Adams win it! It's just a personal dislike of Crump
