  1. The ref did make a quick decision maybe he should of looked at it alot more as looks like Lindback hit it first.
  2. Thanks he did must of been Keith who put Hampel as second as a custom mess up haha
  3. damn I thought new year of grand prix's they would get rid of Keith Heuwen how wrong I can be.
  4. I think that be good idea but you could start with maybe 16 nations to give the lower countries a go at it. Ok you may say why should Italy, Hungary, France etc be in it but if you don't enter them the sport won't grow. It would be good to have it as a league meeting with maybe two legs so each has home advantage. The first round you would have the more respected nations like GB, Denmark, Poland etc seeded and drawn against the lower Finland, Hungary etc so that no-one can moan that in the first round they face a top nation. That would also attract crowds and hopfully help the sport in some countires as for example Slovenia v Australia then local fans would go and help the sport there. You would have 7 riders with maybe 2 on the verge just incase of injury etc. Then after the first round go down to the final. I think that the other idea would be good to help young talent and developing speedway countries get noticed. So here like a example of what I mean with the left nation the seeded but the first leg would be away to help the lower nation maybe get a advantage as at home instead of losing 60-20 or something in first leg away. Or if you had enough nations you could do league with promotion relegation with 6 in a league and every month couple of fixtures so there would be about 3-4 divisions with all nations competing to be in the top league of nations
  5. Hi mate well I will look at the results if no-one else will just to see how they are doing over there
  6. The other day someone asked me how countries have a National side? I was trying to look for a world ranking list or something, can anyone help? Also I think it would be good if Great Britain could be broekn up as Scotland would do well, and even though Wales may not have alot of "top" riders if they knew they could ride for there country there would be a few more coming through.
  7. Who are in the latvian team? Only know the Oxford lad, should be interesting as usa should be favorites but Russia and Latvia are not that bad. Never seen France though so be interesting see how they fair.
  8. Haha nah. I just looked in the book called 'homes of british speedway' and it does have Leicester Lions and the years they were in operation but it does not have a roll of honours on there so not 100% sure if they did. They were promoted from Division three to two in 1950 but does not say they were champions, they stayed there till they finished in 1956. Then in 1960's just did handful of meetings.
  9. Hazzman just looking in my book and I can't see any honours that Leicester had mate, don't quote me on it though.
